The food was good. Took 40 mins for food to get to us. After I asked our server about the delay, she got an attitude with us and didn’t return to our table without my getting up and going to ask her for something.

Great little home town place to eat. We found this on Unilocal on our way to the Smoky Mountains. It is in a small town a little ways off the interstate, about 3 – 4 miles. My grandmother was with us and she had a vegetable plate, which was sweet potato casserole, black eyed peas, coleslaw and cornbread. (Her choice on the sides for the day) I had a chicken Philly with fries and my husband a steak Philly fries. Everything was very good and the servers were very friendly. Our total was around $ 27 they also have extra seating in the back.

If you’re looking for great, traditional Southern cuisine at a great price, this is your place. The décor is modest but the food and service are fantastic! They serve one of the best country fried steaks I have ever had! Best get it while you can, they’re only open for lunch.
