Drove over 20 minutes to get here. Arrived at 4pm to a sign saying they are closed everyday between lunch and dinner. I looked this up on Unilocal before making the drive. Very disappointed.

The cole slaw and hush puppies are worth dining here. The cole slaw is not creamy, the way it’s meant to be. They have catfish any way you want it and a decent pick two menu.

We have been coming here since BEFORE I was born — and I’m 18! I love this restaurant and the owner, Steve. He is a Boston native and trained under Emeril Lagasse. He often comes to our table and delivers our food himself(this is probably because he is a family friend). The food is consistently wonderful and FRESH, with new specials on the board daily. I recommend the crab stuffed tilapia and the blackened Mahi Mahi. The tea is sweet, the hush puppies are great, and the atmosphere and waitresses are friendly.

Good food, prepared daily by Chef/Owner Steven Pilkanis and is cooked fresh. Seafood is delivered to him regularly from the Gulf. The Gumbo s REAL good for a Yankee cook. haha
