No good at all. Bbq was slightly cold and the bun tasted stale. Slawed tasted old. Not good real sc bbq. Oh and the sauce wtf.

Stopped in for dinner since we were heading back to Charlotte from Greer, SC. The location is convenient – you can see the restaurant from I-85. Checked a few Unilocal reviews and decided on this place since it was convenient and we were in the mood for barbecue. Menu offers various plates of pulled pork/chicken, ribs, and sandwiches. There are also various sides – mac and cheese, baked beans, and two types of slaw(white and red). We went with the half slab ribs and pulled pork combo. The combo included two sides and we added a third; we picked the mac and cheese, baked beans, and white slaw. The pulled pork had an ok flavor – it wasn’t dry but it wasn’t the best I’ve ever had. The ribs were really good – they almost fell off the bone. We tried the various sauces they had available: spicy, vinegar, and mustard. The mustard was my favorite. The mac and cheese was our favorite side. Overall not a bad meal. The meal with the extra side was plenty for the two of us. We would probably try this spot again but would be more inclined to try another barbecue spot when we’re in the area again.

This was actually really good. Had the half rack of ribs with two sides. White slaw and Mac and cheese. The ribs are worth the stop. I travel all over the country and try ribs every chance I get. These are really tasty fall off the bone. Mmmm I’ll be back. The white slaw was good and the Mac and cheese was also very tasty. I tried the beans also good. I didn’t like the banana pudding though. Parking is ok. They are under construction at the moment.

This is a real BBQ restaurant not gas cooked it’s truly smoked with a great taste, only complaint I ever had here is being erased because they’re expanding for more dining area. Can’t wait to get in there once the new addition complete.

Stopped in for lunch and was greeted by a friendly staff. The dining room is small but I was informed they plan to expand. I was able to order off-menu and get a chopped BBQ and ribs combo. The ribs were fantastic. They looked amazing and tasted as good as they looked. The chopped BBQ was as good as it can be, as good as any that I’ve had. My only critique would be that it may have been a little too finely chopped, but it was good nonetheless. The macaroni and cheese side was stellar. Some of the best that I’ve had in a restaurant. The potato salad was fair/okay, but the least impressive part of the meal. I think a little more mayo/mustard would make it better. The corn pups are an interesting take on the standard hushpuppies at most BBQ restaurants. They are basically bite sized cornbread muffins. I really enjoyed them and could have used a few more. All of the sides are homemade which makes it every better. The sauces were very good. The sweet and the mustard sauce have a great taste. They are a little thin on consistency which I prefer, so the sauces were a big hit for me. I will most certainly stop in here for a meal again

Easy service, called ahead and picked up in the drive thru. Sandwich was good and mac and cheese was peppery but good. Sandwich had plenty of meat on it and the sauce is on the side so you can choose how much you want. Great portion size overall!

The pulled pork was one of the better ones I’ve had in a restaurant. The mashed potatoes had the same ingredients as a stuffed baked potato, which was interesting! The banana pudding was great!

Went thru drive thru for truckers and liked that because very hard to find places with truck parking. The girls at the window were very kind and displayed good customer service. I asked many questions and they were not only patient but very informative and suggestive for 1st timers. My husband had the chicken plate with 2 sides, macaroni and potato salad, while I had the Big Boy BBQ sandwich and nachos. Presentation of the chicken plate made look appetizing, and my husband says it tasted as good as it looked. Plump, juicy, seasoned with a caramel color to it. My nachos were okay, the chips seemed a bit hard and stale. But the meat, cheese and jalapeños were good. The pork sandwich I was not too thrilled about. It is a dry smokey taste, but the problem was the bun. The bun fell apart when I ate it, so it crumbled and fell everywhere. I would give it one more try if I had time to dine in.

Saw their billboard driving down the interstate, easy to find, lots of parking, good selections of BBQ items, we all went with the BBQ tray, pulled pork tastes great, loved the corn muffins and mac and cheese is very tasty. They also sell home made jams and I got the spicy peach. Great service, very friendly and polite. Made sure our ice tea cup are always full. We will eat here again when we pass by next time.

BBQ was good. I like the corn pones, those were different. Kinda pricey though, 9 bucks for a sandwich, corn pones, and a drink. The sauce is sweet, if you care for sweet BBQ sauce.

This was a great find right off of the Interstate and directly across from the Gafney Outlets. I went with a 6oz chopped BBQ plate with two sides and three little corn muffins. The BBQ had nice smoke, some good size pieces of crispy«bark» and it was pretty dry and lean. Some people might not like their ‘que quite this lean but I absolutely loved it. There was a nice tomato based BBQ sauce on the table which complimented the meat and brought out the smokiness. The macaroni and cheese is a creamier version than you usually see at this type of place but I really enjoyed it. It had a nice bite of cheesiness that shown through from the first bite to the last. The baked beans didn’t really taste baked but the sauce was flavorful and tangy. The corn muffins were decent. I didn’t waste too much time on them because everything else was so good! The restaurant itself is very small and simple. You walk up and order from the counter either to go or they will bring the food to you at one of the few tables in the dining area. There might be tables outside too? The food came out in less than five minutes — like fast food but so much better! There are also jars of jams, jellies, local honey, etc for sale. They also have a great selection of regional sodas — Bleinheim’s ginger ale(a spicy, sharp version that I love), Cheerwine and RC Cola. A great find! Once again, searching on Unilocal has keeps me exploring a wonderful world of regional delicious eats.

My family and I were traveling through South Carolina and needed a place to stop by for lunch. We saw GrandDaddy’s BBQ and decided to eat here. All six of us ate for about $ 30. We ordered the family pack #2 which included pulled pork, 12 corn breads, Mac n cheese, baked beans, and their BBQ sauce. We also ordered a gallon of sweet tea, 4 buns and nachos. Everything tasted amazing. The pulled pork wasn’t fatty at all it was quite lean which I really liked. The service fast and efficient. If I lived in the area I would definitely come again.

This is a great little restaurant! The BBQ is terrific, and they have several sauces to choose from. One of the best things about my experience was the banana pudding! BESTEVER! Small inside, but clean with great atmosphere. There are also jams, jellies, and honey for sale. Truckers have a separate line to call in for pickup. Great place!

BBQ Nacho’s are the best I’ve ever had! The BBQ sauce they use is also good. Not a fan of their macaroni

Tried it for the first time and knew as soon as I walked though the door when that smell of hickory smoke and savory pork overwhelm your senses. I ordered the #2 family pack that comes with 1.5 lbs of pork, 12 corn bread bites, and a choice of 2 sides. We had mac n cheese and baked beans, both of which are the best I have ever had. Mac n cheese has an infusion or cheeses both creamy and sharp, and the baked beans were sweet and tangy but not to overwhelming and we enjoyed every bite. Disclaimer: potatoe salad is not southern style which I prefer, but they make a creamier, less sour interpretation of the southern side. But if you don’t approach it expecting traditional is pretty tasty. *Overall this is the best bbq in town.
