Food quality very low, extremely long wait. Cajun bowl inedible, pickles chips extremely greasy. Bottom line, keep driving.

The food was fantastic. I had the Cajun Chicken Alfredo which was fantastic. Pricey but worth it if you’re looking to get quality food without going very far from Gaffney. The staff is exceptionally friendly as well. The chef came and personally asked how the food was. Even though we were the only ones in the restaurant(it was earlier in the lunch service) service was somewhat slow, though at the same time I’m glad they weren’t constantly at the table asking how everything was, which was nice.

I had hope for this place, and wasn’t too thrilled afterwards. Let me start by saying the food we got was really good, no doubt about it. For Gaffney, most people are going to consider it «pricey,» but I didn’t think they were outrageous for what you get. The service when I went was good as well. The problem I have is that the atmosphere is severely lacking. Yes the prices are higher for the higher quality food, but most people expect a decent atmosphere when you pay that much, and it just doesn’t live up to that. An older building that was cleaned up a little still seems dingy, and not a good restaurant feel. The place would probably be better served at a different location.

This place is terrible. The gumbo taste like something I can only describe as hideous. Not sure how this place got any good reviews. Huge disappontment. I will never be back. Only one other person in the restaurant during the busy lunch hour.

Prices are too high for the food you get. The décor is horrible and I did not feel like the place was particularly clean.

We were excited about this new restaurant but were disappointed… mixed reviews really… we were initially disappointed when they were out of red beans and rice and settled for gumbo instead. I had the burger with pimento cheese on it and it was as very tasty… I loved the spicy pimento cheese and the meat was cooked well and delicious… however it was very big and difficult to eat. Our negative came with the gumbo… it did not resemble any gumbo we had ever had and was not very good. Because we had gone during their first week open… we felt we would give a little time to work out the kinks and try again. Unfortunately our second trip was not any better. We tried a smothered chicken dish that was ok and I had the same burger but it was not as good as before. The prices are very high and makes the disappointment in the food that much greater. On a positive note… the service was very warm and friendly.

The best food in town, by far. Been here several times, everything I’ve tried is outstanding.

Finally Gaffney has something worth writing about. The place is new and lively. Service was a little sluggish BUT it was the second day of opening. My sandwich was so big I only ate half but the best part was the homemade fries and chips. SUPPORTTHISPLACE!!! I hate that I don’t love there anymore but I will definitely eat there when I visit!

I loved this place! I got the Cajun Alfredo Ribeye and it was amazing! The Boudin Ball appetizer was also delicious. The staff was very friendly and I enjoyed the 90’s music that was playing while I was there LOL. I definitely recommend this restaurant and will be a returning customer!
