One egg was over cooked. The butter is not real. Grits have no flavor. Livermush was great. Good coffee. Smoking is allowed at one end but they have good ventilation. Think I will go to Cracker Barrel next time.

Friendly employees. Food was tasty. This was my 1st visit and I ordered my egg«incorrectly» but they recooked it for me perfect. If I could rate half stars I would have given only 3 ½ because smoking is allowed. Fortunately, no one around us was smoking so I gave the 4 instead of 3.

OK, I admit it, I love this place. Had seen it for years beside Hwy 85 and only just stopped in on a roadtrip back to Atlanta. It’s clean, the service friendly and the food is great. Way above IHop, Denny’s and Waffle House. Cool kitschy interior like something out of a movie. Delicious thinly sliced country ham and the hot fudge cake(ala Big Boy) was to die for. Very sorry I live in TX now, but my waistline thanks me. :OD

The waffles, pork chops, sausage, grits and eggs were excellent. The décor is less than to be desired, but the down home taste of the breakfast and excellent service made up for the everything. Don’t forget to try the liver mush, if you like liver, it was good, for the discriminating foodies.
