The Gaines Superette

If I actually could get away with giving this place zero stars, I would, because that’s precisely what it deserves. Disgusting, overpriced, poor selection, credit card transactions must be over $ 5, the place is dirty, and to top it all off, the POS «owner» treated me VERY rudely and went on a rant laced filled with ignorant and incendiary comments. He doesn’t know his ass from a hole in the ground. The store is a dive and you should definitely avoid it at all costs! Hell, even street vendors at outdoor art walks/​art fairs and festivals allow you to pay for any transaction with a credit card through their smartphone or Ipod Touch without a minimum transaction amount or any additional fees! It’s 2014, not 1984. There’s nothing «super» about the Gaines Superette. I hope it goes out of business ASAP and a decent grocery store takes its place.
