Great place, and one of the best of its kind I’ve found in Florida(am another of those been-all-over-the-U.S. people). For my second visit I went during the spring-summer lull at UF(not many people out and about around the town) and that probably helped with the selection staying in the bins longer. I have a bent toward classic rock and am fussy about condition. This place had a few good choices at the higher end, and I ended up buying a Yardbirds mono in NM– at $ 20. A Beatles Yesterday and Today mono around VG+ was $ 8. Also found some old OOP albums from 80s Athens, Ga., lesser-knowns that’d be thrice the price in Athens(natch). And the nothing-special-but-good-condition vinyl can go as low as $ 3 in the regular section. Also bought three items from the dollar section. If you’re in the market for punk LPs or 45s the selection also looks strong. The student population undoubtedly helps in selling back records for a better selection than you find in most places, and the pricing actually looks like something even students can afford. Well worth a look.

the only negative thing about this place is that I spend almost all of my money here each visit. such a great selection and the owner is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. it seems like they are always stocking a ton of new merchandise too.

Killer store. I always stopped by here on my trips to Gainesville, but now that I live here I can go way more frequently. They always have something I’m interested in, whether its new or used.

Amazing selection, I tour across the country and it is refreshing to find a record store that has a wide and diverse selection.

I have never been disappointed by a trip here. There’s nothing more relaxing than sitting on the floor for hours in this cozy shop and picking out the $ 1 records, which are always in totally useable-great condition. They always have the records and genres I am looking for(and more) and they’re always reasonably priced. Coming from Miami I could go into the one of the two or so record stores in all of Miami and spend a small fortune on two or three records. I have never spent more than $ 50 here and I leave with as many as 9 albums. They have everything you’re looking for and more, without a question. Also the staff couldn’t be more helpful and friendly. This place is definitely my go to place for records(or even just to unwind since I love record collecting so much). I’m a huge fan!

Small but mighty, Arrow’s Aim mixes used and new vinyl and CDs in a space roughly the same size as an affordable Paris apartment(read: small and cramped) but what they lack in space is made up for in selection! If you’re looking for the latest release by the pop tart of the moment you’ll be disappointed, but if your tastes lean more in the punk/indie/reggae/folk/classic rock direction you’ll find plenty of reasons to part with your money. My husband left with an Avail album that was a college favourite; I carried my copy of Magnolia Electric Co.‘s ‘Trials and Errors’ out like it was a newborn baby. The Gainesville of my college years had numerous shops like this, classics like Babalou’s, Schoolkids, Wayward Council, Sharpe’s, the legendary Hyde & Zeke’s, and so many more; it warms the heart to see the independent tradition carried on. Support your local record stores, kids — they’ll give you friends and memories that a click or two on Amazon won’t provide.

Tiny, cozy corner store, very retro. Think my walk in closet is the same size. Brings back memories of record stores past. And great regret I did not save all my albums. Reasonable prices. Happening place, quickly gets too crowded to go thru the albums. Across from the Top Restaurant. Next time your group waits, give someone else the flashing square seat alarm and go back in time here.

If you’re into punk, metal or indie rock records, this store is for you. It’s modestly sized, minimal store set up and packed with really good selection of new and used vinyl. No-nonsense, reasonably priced and friendly staff(owner?). Found a record I had been looking for at a decent price. I was pleased.

If you’ve ever been to Vinyl Fiesta downtown, you’ve probably met Daniel. He opened this great used vinyl store recently. I’ve been collecting for 20 years, and he knows his stuff. Very affordable and great selection.
