Ayers performs a diagnosis by looking up the problem on the internet. They did not troubleshoot my cook top.
Diagnosis consisted of asking me the problem and then looking up the problem on the internet.
If you can search the internet, you can save their $ 79.95 service fee. The parts are at least 25% less on the internet.
You can also save the $ 200 repair fee.
As a benefit of the diagnosis is abuse from the technician. Imagine a repair person coming into to your own home and abusing you.
The reason I did give him two stairs, is that one of the two parts repaired the problem. The other part was not needed.
But he did say he had over 10 years of experience.

My GE Profile refrigerator died as I was prepping for the Labor Day holiday weekend. I called Ayers Appliance at the recommendation of a friend and was scheduled for service the very next day. The technician arrived and assessed my appliance as having a faulty circuit board which he, thankfully, had on his truck. My fridge was up and running in time for the arrival of family and friends. I thought both the scheduler and technician were professional and courteous. I will not hesitate to use them in the future as well as recommend them to others. Thank you for saving the day.
