El Maguey

If you want to go grab a beer and chips with salsa then it will be okay. I went with my family. when we were seated we say down and waitress handed us menus. We all smelled a funky odor I leaned over sniffed my sons area to make sure it wasn’t coming from him (he is 13 and you never know when he might let one rip) after we got done sniffing each other we realized the menus had a dirty musty smell to them. We did not want to be rude because the waitress seemed to Be very nice but we all thought about getting up to leave then decided not to. My son and I ordered the chimichanga (brisket) my wife ordered the chicken chimichanga and my daughter who is vegan ordered the rice and bean burritos. None of us finished more than half our plates. I would not go here unless to get bottled beer and chips and watch a football game!

Nailed it again as undecided on any one choice their wide array of combos offer nearly too many options but the beer is cold & the tequila pours are generous while trying to decide
While it could be a simple matter of expectations as I spend a ¹⁄₃ of my time in Mexico the food is way beyond what I anticipated would be found in GA I could just as easily be out for dinner in Ensenada

Loved this place! great service and amazing food. The lunch special was very reasonably priced and they give you so much food. Chips and salsa before you eat and a huge portion. I asked for a side of sour cream, but it tasted funny to me and they gave me guacamole instead and didn’t charge at all.
Lunch specials all under 10 $

This is an out of the way place that has great food and service. The happy hour 2 for 1 isn’t bad either!
I’ve only lived in the area about 4 years and we have introduced many locals to this treat and haven’t had a complaint yet.
I’ve tried several of the dishes on the menu and haven’t had a bad one yet. A couple of favorites are the Enchiladas Verdes and the Texas Fajita Quesadillas.
