I have ordered three prints totalling to 128USD based on the lame reviews on Unilocal. What a mistake. Colors are pale and glass is too reflective to even look at the picture. Except for the novelty factor, you are much better off with a decent print and framing it yourself. I have tried and they sent me a sample print on metal with one of the photos I got printed with Fracture. There is a day and night difference. And the pic i was talking about was a professionally taken picture with rich and vibrant colors and very sharp. But the Fracture print was pale and soft. Again perceptions vary from person to person, so i would suggest that you try a small print, preferably taken by a professional and see before you spend any big bucks on this service. Also look at . To their credit, the packaging and the whole shopping experience is good. At the end of the day, if the final product itself is not living up to my expectations, and the value proposition is so poor, every other virtue falls apart.

I heard about Fracture through a podcast. The podcast advertisement mentioned a discount code, so I decided to order a couple of small 5″ x 5″ photos from them. The ordering process is very simple, perhaps too simple for some(i.e., very limited editing capabilities), and checkout was easy. It took a few weeks for my photos to arrive, apparently due to a recent influx of orders, but I knew that up front when I ordered. Anyway, the photos arrived, and I was really impressed. The packaging is a little strange, but it definitely kept the glass from shattering. The photos came ready-to-mount on the wall with a sort of self-anchoring screw. I was so impressed that I ordered one of their«Extra Large» size prints. I’m pretty confident I’ll be just as happy with that, but I’ll check back in if I’m not. By the way, I had a problem with the coupon code that I heard on the podcast. There was some kind of mixup, and the coupon code wasn’t activated for some reason. I mentioned it on Twitter, and their support got back to me right away and apologized. They even refunded the coupon amount retroactively on my order, which was already placed.

I ordered a number of 4″ x 4″ Fractures as Christmas gifts. Initially disappointed that they took two weeks to dispatch, but they handled my complaint well, giving me a 40% discount code for my next order. I was delighted with the quality of the glass prints and the packaging and I’d say they are are a classier way to decorate than framed photo prints and good value for money. If you don’t want your Fractures right away, join their mailing list and wait; offers seem to be fairly frequent.

I have nothing but great things to say about this company. I live in California and a few years back I bought a Groupon and ended up purchasing some Fractures. 3 small squares, they came out beautifully, hung on the wall in a pinch, and I’ve been enjoying them as eye candy ever since. Recently I decided it was time to add to the collection, I selected 5 photos for Fracturing, 3 small squares and 2 large squares. I received my order precisely on time, though to my dismay one of the Fractures had fractured in shipping! I emailed their customer service with a photo of the damaged piece, and was promptly contacted in response. To my amazement, not by an automated«we received your request and someone will follow up in blah blah blah», but rather by an actual person with a personality. She apologized for the damaged order and commented on how she saw my order when they were going in for printing and she had liked my photos. she said she would get the order in for reprint right away. I was so stunned to have such a HUMAN response where usually one would expect a more mechanical interaction. When I did receive my reprinted order, all was in tact, on time, and GORGEOUS. Not only do they have a great, unique, and original product; but their customer service is such as well. I highly recommend them and their products to anyone.
