This is a much better juke joint than days gone by! I’ve had several «life events» here. 30 some years ago I got the snot beat out of me here which is no longer even a remote concern, unless one brings it upon ones self. I also got engaged AFTER leaving this place almost 30 years ago. Thankfully I had the presence of mind to wait until we’d left, otherwise she’d had no other choice than to refute and even deny that we had even known each other. She’s still mine, so I did something right! The third was open mic night with members of Soul Patch hosting. It’s only the second time I’ve played with other musicians, and on stage in front of anyone. The drinks are poured fairly, the people are nice, and I wasn’t boo’d or heckled off the face of the planet! I definitely like this place better than ever. It’s still what it kind of has always has been, only with the rough edges polished off.

Jr’s is your basic locals dive bar with a few added features. They have two pool tables, a dance floor, bands, open mic night, Karaōke and cheap drinks.
Thursday night is ladies night and well drinks are $ 1, which attracts a crowd. They do not take credit cards, but they do have an ATM.
