I’ve had great experiences with other Kirkland’s in the past, but went in to browse a week ago, and, incidentally, lost my cell phone — after thinking for days I misplaced it, I called Verizon and asked when/where the last activity was(hint: in or near this store). When I called the store to ask if they’d found a cell phone, the woman on the other end didn’t check a drawer or an office, or a lost and found; she just shouted, «Anybody seen a cell phone today?» And then told me that there wasn’t one there. When I said I didn’t lose it today, she said, «No one saw one yesterday.» Still no check for it. So then I said, «It was a week ago.» And rather than checking or asking(and all of this happened in a 60 second window) she said, «There’s no cell phone here.» Click. End of conversation. Worst customer service experience EVER.

Framed artwork, mirrors, candle holders of every kind, funky furniture, vases, clocks, pillows, lamps… These are just a few of the wares one will find at a Kirkland’s Home. This one is located in the sprawling Virginia Gateway complex in Gainesville, VA. My favorites are their selection of framed art pieces of musical instruments and selected candle wall sconces. Cool place to shop for home décor items!
