Went here a couple days ago to eat lunch with friends. The guy at the front tried to seat us waaaay in the back near the restrooms even though there was a lot of room in the front. I told him that, no, we need to be seated with the general public. We are AA’s and this was NOT cool… Our server was really nice and attentive to our needs though. I have nothing to say bad about her, but the guy at the front? Ha, he must still be living in 1950. I shut him down real quick before trying to seat us where we wouldn’t be seen. This was my first time coming here as I’m not from the area and won’t be returning.

Overlooked, Undermined, Rude and Overcharge During our visit in Gainesville we visited Ruby Tuesday’s and Oak’s Mall. The Host who seated us was wonderful. But our server she was very nice nasty and rude. Which made me feel very uncomfortable as if she didn’t care much to serve my race. Saying that as she greeted us it wasn’t pleasant as she tosses the paper coaster across the table. I ignored it think nothing of it. Then as she presented our table with the mini(3) biscuits which were delicious an no extra plates to eat off. There a couple of other race sat in front of us an I watch her take that couple of(2) four biscuits an extra plates. Now serving our food was half step as well but the crab cake an chicken breast was all on points. Thanks Chef! So as we check out our bills were issue: my friend paid hers with cash 5mins before due to I was undecided to pay with cash or card. Paid with card an was charged $ 23 more than my bill an all she could she my bad. Then I spoke with her manager she really tired to talk to me as I was uneducated! Didn’t appreciate it at all as she attempted to correct the charge when a day later I’m still pending for the overcharge balance. But the manager stayed that it would be correct that night an shouldn’t show the next day. Such Liar an Very Unprofessional Setting and Employer. Will be contacting Corporate office after I contact General Manager tomorrow overall the service was horrible an experience I would never like to face for myself or kids. We all are equal an my money spends as well! The food was wonderful wish I could have felt a warmth !

Ruby Tuesday used to be my favorite restaurant until yesterday! My husband, my son and my mother-in-law got food prisoning. Due to the burger/etc. they ate, we have never had that problem we go to RB at least twice a week, the server are awesome and the evening manager is a really nice guy! Cleanliness must be your first propriety when it come to food being served they missed the mark on this one, will not be back for a LOOOOOOOOONNNNNGGG!!! While. (Typing this as my family is still sick!)

Eek! We went here for their salad bar and the convenience of its mall location after shopping. The service was friendly and prompt. The salad bar was good, wide variety of options and salad dressings including pasta salad, apple salad, and macaroni salad. But the 6 cheese with marinara flat bread appetizer we shared — well, it meets the standards of cafeteria lunch«pizza» at best and should really be taken off the menu. The cheese was hardly a 6 cheese variety, the dough was likely microwaved and no other toppings — no basil no parsley nothing to jazz it up a wee-bit! Not worth the calories if you ask me and hardly a menu item that should reflect Ruby Tuesdays, unless cafeteria frozen apps are what they’re going for. Eeek! I’ll go back for salad bar and the convenience but will severely question ordering appetizers.

Burgers are ok and usually service is acceptable. In mall so handy for lunch. TVs behind the bar. Not too noisy.

It was a Monday evening and we had just checked into a nearby hotel. We went to the bar for some wine and appetizer and ordered a quesadilla. As soon as I saw it I know something was wrong. It was a cold flour tortilla wrapped around some sort of chicken concoction with cold cheese. It hadn’t even been heated. Now I know why we try to go to only locally owned restaurants. Ruby Tuesday? Never again!

Honestly if it wasn’t for the salad bar, we wouldn’t go ! Our waitress was very slow and not attentive, the restaurant also needed to be cleaned really good tables were dirty floor etc, it’s to bad because there right in the mall and its convenient to eat there, my ice tea was good but very expensive, I might give it another shot in a couple months so hopefully they’ll clean up there act !!

I have a food allergy and they had a special menu for that! The manager handled my order himself and I even was able to eat a cupcake !!! Will definitely go there again!

Disappointed, but not surprised, in our last visit. My Quesadilla meal had a strong cheese that didn’t taste well(at all). The waitress genuinely sympathized with me saying that cheese could have a strong taste that also she doesn’t like and hinted other customers didn’t like it either. She was kind enough to suggest that they could make it again with a different cheese, which was very kind. She came back(15 min later) and after a few bites, it was clear the previous cheese taste was still there. Opened it up and could tell the previous cheese was there… just mostly scraped off. Based on a couple other experiences there, I’m not surprised. I should have known better than to stop in.

Dined last week, and tried the Seafood Trio! The lobster looked like it was limp and soaked in soy sauce. Tasted terrible and was sick all night after eating. The meal was not worth the price of $ 19.99.

The things that I think are awesome here: salad bar, blackberry lemonade, mashed potatoes and herb crusted tilapia. Been here four times and will definitely come again.

Attached to mall, convenient but nothing to write home about. Salad bar isn’t impressive, basic. Variety is there but not cheap. Free biscuits for dinner were small but yummy . Staff very friendly, food is just ok, but not worth the prices.

It’s OK. It is exactly what you would think it would be … burgers, etc. The place is not really clean(the night I was there the floor was a mess and no busser in site). The salad bar is fine and for $ 12.00 you can get an all you care to eat salad bar, chicken dish and a fresh nege side. Would i take my mother there — no – but, it’s the all American 40 y.o. restaurant concept. They now have Red Robin to compete with — $ 10.00 burgers, but all the fries you want — please, how about healthy food! For LARGE chains restaurants it’s OK — NOT better than a 2.5.

For a mall restaurant, not bad! I loved the choices on the salad bar(they actually had peas), and the food was served with a smile. If you are on the road, this is a possibility to get to quickly, free parking, and you can get back on the road again, which is what we did.

I am not going to be coming back here ever again. This place should seriously be reported for false advertising. One example is their Mini Burgers and Salad Bar deal for $ 8.99. The photo shows 3 minis, yet they give you only two. This is something that has been happening frequently to cut costs. The salad bar now sucks. They removed about half of the items and some of the salad dressings. Plus, it is the most expensive in town. I am going to be visiting Joe’s Place and Jason’s Deli more often for my salad bar fix.

First off, it has a salad bar. Yay! These are few and far between… and unheard for most part if you’re not at a buffet. I usually go here when my girlfriend nags that she’s tired of eating fast food. I will gladly eat here because they have something for everyone — including me. If I feel like having a few sliders and a salad — they’ve got it. If I want soup & salad — they’ve got that too. Ruby Tuesday was really in the dark ages before 2008. Once the economic downturn happened, they attacked and have positioned themselves in a unique advantage compared to other restaurants. Their«taste-alike» cheddar biscuits(see Red Lobster) are albeit small, but tasty. I’d go here before I’d go to BJ’s Brewhouse which is across the parking lot. No disrespect, but Ruby’s offers a better value for the money in my opinion.

For a chain casual joint, Ruby Tuesday consistently ranks above the competition in one critical area: The Burgers. I almost never order anything else but that juicy wonderful hamburger. Due to recent diet changes, I can’t even eat a whole one any more… I usually skip the fries and get the broccoli or the mashed potatoes as a side. This past trip I tried the mashed cauliflower — wow was that bad. My server immediately replaced it with another choice — can’t argue with that level of concern with my happiness. The service varies from adequate to wonderful — a lt depends on how busy the mall is.

The salad bar is why it’s 3 stars, else it would be 2 for their food.

I always feel like I’m at the airport when I eat at Ruby Tuesday. The food is acceptable – except for the brunch, which is an abomination – but not great. The salad bar adds value to the place and is the draw for most people. If you don’t like salad bars, Ruby’s is not the place for you. I mostly order an appetizer and the salad bar. The price is a bit high for the quality and selection of food – especially for the brunch menu. Like an airport restaurant the customer is paying for the high overhead associated with location, convenience, interior design, and square serving plates. Since I like salad bars, I’m generally satisfied with Ruby’s.

I’ve been thinking for a while that I needed to update this review, because I’ve been returning to Ruby Tuesday on a semi-regular basis and I’ve found that I really enjoy their mini burgers. The second-to-last time I went, I saw something about a «wing sampler» and I thought that was cute, so I ordered one this past Saturday. Now, I think we can all agree that Ruby Tuesday’s(at least THIS one) definitely functions like a bar. And bars generally know how to cook wings. At least, they should. Chicken wings should have hot, crispy skin, the better to melt the fat and stand up to heavy sauces. If you don’t cook the wings hard enough, you end up with warm, not hot, chicken, semi-gelatinous fat and rubbery, inedible skin. So … yeah. Guess what I got. –_-;;;;;; At least the Ruby T is pretty good.
