The real deal: + SO close to campus + «all inclusive»(besides the guaranteed overages) + individual leases are good + a few nice people in the office + maintenance is pretty quick + town home living area is pretty spacious + new furniture is decent + kitchen cabinet space is decent, appliances are okay + pool is nice when a bunch of random people don’t walk in and throw a dayger –Parking is impossibly difficult(only city parking available) –Constant construction is annoying AF, some days can’t even hear myself think –Apartments extremely outdated(see below if you want details) –super overpriced –they demolished our patio and gave no compensation, just said«it has to be done»(WEPAYFORTHATASPARTOFRENTWTF) –walls are super thin so you can hear every high heel, party, moan, loud drunk conversation, etc. –the gate used for«security» is always propped open by residents/staff so there’s always hordes of random people at the pool and in the complex –you WILL get charged utility overages and they WILL be charged to you on a delay(i.e. overage for Feb. is charged in April) –the fire alarm goes off every other week –gym is ratchet –maintenance has keys to your place and they walk in whenever you make a request –they charge you for the reparations they are responsible for(ex: a leak occurs, they bring in industrial sized fans which run for 2 – 3 days straight that YOU pay the utilities for) –they are extremely unclear and unhelpful about reimbursements for personal property damage(I had multiple items get damaged and they NEVER helped me through the process of getting it fixed just said«YOU go get it checked and run around and figure it out and then we can talk» –details about how jank it is:(500 layers of paint on the wall, disgusting carpet, sink disposal broken from the start and was never fixed in spite of endless maintenance requests, sink pipes were clogged at least once a month, dishwasher works but smells moldy plus the dirty sink drainage wells up into the dishwasher, drawers in bedrooms barely hold up)
