After reading Johnny’s review I really wanted to try Tori’s but it appears it is now closed. It’s located there in the small shopping plaza with a textbook store and a barber shop behind Walgreen’s off 39th Avenue but it’s pretty clear it’s closed. :(

Good BBQ close to Santa Fe College. Tori’s BBQ should be more popular, but takes a backseat to Sonny’s BBQ.(I like it more than Sonny’s). The place is run by a couple who do their own smoking in the back. You can smell the BBQ and see the smoke on the way to Santa Fe College(used to work there). The BBQ was pretty good. The ribs were great but the chicken wasnt. I would order the ribs again. They were tender and had a nice smoke ring. Will be sure to come back and try the pulled pork sandwich sometime. For sides I got Mac and Cheese, and Corn Casserole. The Mac and Cheese was alright, but the Corn Casserole was awesome. It was sweet and a unique item that I havent seen elsewhere. They’ve got great prices for the portions that you’re given. This place is worth a visit. Not a lot of people come through here, which is a shame because they’ve got good food and good people. You can definitely feed yourself full for under $ 10.
