Yonah Burger

The breakfast here is amazing. My personal suggestion are the chicken biscuits, which are filled with large pieces of chickens with a soft and delicious biscuit. You cannot go wrong with anything else on the menu.

One of the best burgers in Gainesville! Try the burger with slaw and pickle. They also occasionally have fried pickles, which are by far the best in Gainesville. Cooked to perfection.

Great place for a burger or hot dog! Fast friendly service and reasonable prices. And the chocolate peanut butter milkshake is the bomb!

Awesome food! Their burger is incredible, as well as their onions rings. I love the environment. Definitely look them up if you want a great burger!

We have made a few trips to Gainesville and stopped at Yonah burger and have not been let down. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. I tried their fried dill pickles and they are to die for. They are some of the best I have ever had.
My burger patty was a little on the dry side.

Great food. Tried many different items and everything was good. The BBQ pork was okay not the best I’ve had by a long shot, but the burgers are great. The breakfast is where it’s at though.

I’m a regular diner here at Yonah Burger since they opened. The quality of the food is great, but lately the preparation consistency has degraded. The Buns are served cold, not toasted, steamed or warmed. The large crinkle-​cut French fries are great, but the skimp on the combo portions. Great service.

I got the double bacon burger with sweet potato fries. They offered it with 3 seasonings. Do the cinnamon sugar. Ate very well for about 10 bucks with a soda. Burger was cooked well. You can ak them to add cole slaw for free to your burger.
Definately worth the stop if you’re near by and feel like a burger. They also have hot dogs and other things on their menu, but its mostly burgers.
They have a breakfast menu, although Im not sure if thats all day service.

Made a stop while passing through. The place looks just dive-​y enough that it could be absolutely delicious. We walked in and ordered in about 2 minutes. There aren’t a lot of choices, but nothing wrong with keeping it simple. Shocker… we both got burgers.
There is no point in explaining each burger and what we thought because they were essentially the same. So here’s how we felt about them.
Everything was very fresh. It was so fresh and juicy a little part of me worried they had a living cow in the kitchen they would just cut a chunk out of for my burger. Shh… don’t tell PETA. All the toppings were fresh too. That’s what really makes this place great.
My complaint for almost every burger place we eat at is they do not season their meat. Your burger would be so much better with just a little dash of spices. Take it to the next level.
Everything else was good, and the price was definitely right. The only thing keeping it from the fifth star is some salt, pepper and garlic powder.

One of the best burger places. Great staff, and the freshest ingredients. Everything is cooked to order. Seating is good, and comfortable.

Always friendly. Willing to customize your order and they carry Gardenburgers for us vegetarians. Love Kandy the manager. Onion rings are great and the tea is perfect.

Finally managed to stop and have a burger here, and we weren’t even en route to our favorite Georgia winery (Yonah Mountain). I’d heard good things, and I was not disappointed. The food is something of an exercise in simplicity, but it is simplicity done right. We each had a cheeseburger. It was juicy and delicious. The burgers are «never frozen.» I have a suspicion that all the food doesn’t have far to go before it reaches your table. That was one of the reddest, tastiest tomatoes I’ve ever seen and eaten.
There’s other stuff on the menu: chicken salad, turkey burgers, slaw, etc. And they even do breakfast. (Yay, biscuits!!) Staff was super friendly, and the seating areas were clean. We took advantage of the shaded outdoor seating so the dog could hang with us while we chowed down. All-​in-​all, a good time.
I won’t hesitate to stop here for a burger next time. Holler if you’re coming with.

Great little burger joint that my wife and I will hit up sometimes after church and sunday school. The Onion Rings are great as is the Mushroom and Swiss Burger.

So my husband and I are craving a burger last Sunday afternoon… we go in and are the only ones in the restaurant… we place our order making it a combo with everything that comes on the combo but no pickle or mustard… They do not take temperatures, which is very evident that the burgers are not fresh, but we are okay with that. Our order comes out and low and behold we both had pickles and mustard on our burgers, had to send back and all they did was change the bottom bun and give it back to us. The burgers had no taste and the onion rings and fries were extremely greasy.
Okay so two days later I give it a shot for breakfast, thinking maybe they do a better breakfast than burger. I order one scrambled egg with cheese and dry wheat toast… they put a ton of butter on the toast and I had finished my eggs by the time they brought me the dry toast which took 7 minutes to get… definitely not worth it

Best buger in GA! Fresh ground chuck, condiments, side of slaw, hot fries and onion rings and peach pie with ice cream. Our favorite place to eat!

Super friendly staff, nice menu, not too much, but everything you want from a burger joint.
I had the Yonah Burger with cheese. It was tasty, chargrilled, the bun was warm. It was cooked to order, not sitting under a warming light.
I will go back and try a chili-​slaw dog. They have scratch chili and slaw. Also they have soda floats and milkshakes.

Fries were not hot and I like my crinkle fries to be crispy… these were not. Most disappointing was that the cheese was not warm and melted on the burger… just a cold slice of processed cheese slapped on. I’ll gor for a plain burger next time, and ask for extra crispy fries with NO seasoning.

Yonah Burger serves chargrilled hamburgers made with fresh beef. They have excellent milkshakes, onion rings, fries, and apple pies. A perfect addition to the neighborhood. I had the single hamburger with mustard and ketchup along with a chocolate milkshake. They also serve biscuits in the A.M. The other hamburger joints definitely have some competition !! YUM !
