My father was discharged to Asbury with specific instructions for a follow-up medical procedure. It took them THREEWEEKS to get is scheduled. Additionally, as soon as they found out we could afford to pay the fee they stopped pushing for the insurance to pay. Guess it was easier to make us pay up-front than wait for the insurance! They also poo-pooed another medical procedure that my father really needed. Said we needed to «accept that condition our father was in.» Guess what? We fought for the procedure and we have our father back mentally — 100%! So perhaps the folks at Asbury just need to accept that they suck!

Rolling with the 70’s superb set of friends… Asbury may be the place for you or a valued member of the family. They have a huge campus with many different housing needs. There is garden apartments, high rises, and single family homes. Asbury offers a variety of care facilities from assisted living to independent dwellings. The Asbury staff is friendly and helpful. Activities range from Saturday morning bingo to lunch trips at many local restaurants. They have even taken residents to parks and local site seeing venues. The rooms are spacious and well decorated. You can swim at the in door pool or work out in their weight room. There is a wonderful rehabilitation center for those who are returning from a hospital stay or need a high level of medical assistance. A security staff is on duty to protect residents and keep the campus safe. My father has been a resident for 4 years at Asbury and I am impressed with the level of care he receives. So, if your loved one can’t live on their own anymore, I recommend Asbury as a place for them to call home.
