Went in on last Friday at 9:18pm. One worker present but when I went to place the order I was told me they were closed(closing time is at 10pm).

Last Tuesday I went to this place for the first time around 11:00 am, at that time, started getting busy. I didn’t have to wait longer to place my order, I decided to order a tinga salad. So, the woman who works at the first station said, it is a good salad choice, then second guy on line jump right away with a big smile and asked me what kind of dressing I would like to have. i said something spicy, so, he suggested me mexican goddess which it is very delicious. I asked him if he can chop my salad a litle more, he responded me «of course» with a nice smile. this dude was really enjoying what he was doing, then I asked for his name because he didn’t have a name tag and he said Manuel, he was very helpful and nice, I hope he can make my salad next time. This is a great place to enjoy a very luxury salad with the best friendlier staff, definitely I will be back soon.

This is some STRONG strategic location placement. I’m here after gym sessions, being a good bunny and eating them greens. My first time at Chop’t was overwhelming! There are so many words on the menus posted that go through the components of each salad which made me panic and wonder«what if I want everything?!?» I actually didn’t find favor in any of the recommended First Time Favorites box. I recommend the Chop’t Po Boy or Chop’t Cobb if it’s your first time~

On that clean diet, so that place is ideal. They got a variety of salads, and my favorite one right now has to be the santa fe salad with chicken. The place is clean, and the people that work there will help you out if you are there the first time. Def the right choice location wise, cause its right next to la fitness.

Yesterday was my first time dining at Chopt and man was I blown away by the atmosphere friendly staff and the by the salad I had the New York street cart and I was speechless!(If you know me then you know that’s a rarity). Lol but in all honesty It was delicious, filling and the reggae music playing just spoke to my West Indian roots I definitely will be back especially for the staff NO One was rude they seemed to enjoy what they where doing

What another good health experience I found another chopt today I go the chopt po boy yummy in my tummy. EVERYTIME I go it’s a good experience through people is so friendly and helpful that’s a great thing because I never know what I want lol. But I’ll recommend chopt to anyone that wants something good to eat the icing on the cake has my Grandma would say. It’s so many things you can add to your salad like apples ect I really think that’s what raises the bar for chopt just from any other salad place. … ONCEAGAIN I HAD A GREATLUNCH #HEALTHYEATSYUMMOHAPPYHOLIDAYS

I’m never one to write a negative review because I know it bodes badly on a business and I’m all about cool vibes. However, I’m actually logged in to my Unilocal account on a warm Sunday night in December to blast an establishment I’ve loved. I went in to Chop’t at the Crown around 7:25PM Sunday(Dec. 13). Ahead of me were two people and three folks behind me. There were, as far as I can tell, four staff members working this evening. The ordering process was slower than usual, and nothing seemed to go well. I ordered three salads, including a new destination salad. I ordered around 7:30…and I didn’t leave until 8:00pm. The salad station workers were moving as if they all took a long sip of lean and a drag on a spliff before they got to work. They all shared the enthusiasm of resting snails if I’m honest. Then they were out of everything. No ranch. No caesar, you name it. And there was no type of ingenuity from them to aid you in a different choice in this instance. I’ve been to this location at least three times, and each of my visits has been atrociously slow and the service was suspect. I know it’s a tough gig and I know working on a Sunday night sucks, but I don’t feel good about getting my food handed to me with frowns that look like they came from ulcers of discontent. The food was okay as it always is… but the fact that so much was missing from my meal and the general mood of things, I’ll just drive further away to the far more pleasant Bethesda location.

I was so excited when chop’t opened in the Crown! Originally I was frequenting this location weekly. Sometime in the past year a few things changed that have been disappointing because I want a salad but now I don’t want to go to chopt. — The menu changed. I feel like it’s more limited and It’s also overly complicated for a salad place. You also stopped carrying my favorite dressing. Spa Caesar was delicious, and now it’s gone. — The flow of ordering at this location is stressful. I might be the 10th person in line but the person making my salad is yelling at to yell my order so that they can get started on it. I don’t really want to yell my order. I want to talk to somebody at the counter to place my order. — if you’re a restaurant your number one job is to have the food on the menu. Almost every time I go, you are out of one of the items. Please fix this.

Great location, gets packed by noon. Manager seems to be hands on and always on duty. Love the outdoor seating on a sunny day.

Has Chop’t finally turned over a new leaf? Started. Yes, it’s about time! This is such a come up. That salad popped like a zit. Chop’t has hereby re-established itself in the powerful industry of salads. This resurgence has taken a long time as Chop’t’s cross-town, simpslaying rival, Sweetgreen, consistently ended them. Sweetgreen is too GOAT, and Chop’t had to resign itself as the suss boy. This all changed on July 15, 2015. Chop’t delivered a fantastic performance in the form of a make-your-own salad. I pull up to Chop’t in my convertible with the top off like Rasheed Wallace. I walk in two nanoseconds right before this woman does. gh she’s blown. First ones here! I look around at all my fans cheering me on. Shout out to Uncle Luke. The red carpet leads me to the counter where I select romaine lettuce from Salinas, Ca. I took it to go and told them don’t even plate it. I wanted olives man. Kalamata olives are the key ingredient. The olives make me feel some type of way. I’m shining ho! The olives add a spicy, sour kick. They are ill! Next up I add some of those black beans, chickpeas, and tofu. Even though these things give me boofing farts for all my co-workers, I still ride with my day one homies. Plant protein is good for my gains gains gains. Can’t lose my gains. The better my efforts the wetter her treasure. I’m feeling so juiced after I add the grape tomatoes. They also offset the burn of the spicy & sweet chipotle vinaigrette. Top it off with the $ 2 avocado. I didn’t see any diced pineapple for my girl though. Chop’t has me feeling like a champion. That was a terrific salad. Keep it up breh! I forget how much the salad was, but it doesn’t matter because I’ve got a Brinks truck in my pocket.

I just found out there is a Chopt nearby and I was excited. I used to go at least a week in DC and it was amazing and still is here. Is will be more regularly around my neighborhood as well, maybe. The only disappointing thing is that it wasn’t completely full like they do in DC and the employee didn’t seem happy about their job and didn’t even smile once even though I tried. Also the employees were impatient and intimidated my brother and so he forgot to get sauce and ended up crying. The young employees here are disrespectful and rude. If you haven’t been here, def go check it out and try the salads(not here, in DC), they’re amazing. I can’t speak for the sandwiches as I have not tried them yet, but I have no idea they’ll be just as good. It’s not everyday someone will cut up your salad until you’re satisfied and then Mix it all up for you, even with the dressing. I get to spend more time eating and less time preparing and mixing up my salad now.

I’m Chop’t lover! Pro’s: –Quick and easy –Salads are always delicious –Ask for extra dressing on the side(It’s hard to tell if there’s enough when they mix it in) –They do ask if it’s chopped enough. about 80% of the time it’s not… at least for my preference –Offers Seasonal Salads –Large portions –If you have a nut allergy they make your salad in the back –If you add nuts to your salad they cap it into a to go container Con’s: –NO red onion! SOSAD!!! –NO shrimp.(I used to order the Palm Beach salad with shrimp all the time. it is now with grilled chicken) –Great outdoor seating but no umbrellas for shade during high sun moments. burn! ouch! –Lines tend to get long of course during lunch hour. You can always order online and beat the line Still will return since I love Chop’t!

It’s almost like salad and Chipotle had a baby! On steroids! Omgosh! This place is great, but it was intense lol. Just a teeny bit overwhelming for me since I’d never been there before AND it was lunchtime. I’m thankful that I wrote down what I wanted before I went, because I probably would have passed out from indecisiveness at the counter. Much like Chipotle, you choose a salad or a wrap. Choose your choppings and dressing. And boom! They literally chop it to your liking, then put it in a bowl for you. If you don’t want to go through the pains of choosing everything, they have choices of specialty items on the menu. Not much to say, other than, if you like salad or wraps… come here! The concept is amazing and everything is really fresh. Tips: 1. Write down what you want before you go, if you’re a newbie. 2. The salads are pretty big. So, if you don’t think you’ll eat it all, ask for the dressing on the side. The salads don’t store well once the dressing is on it. 3. Try the Puck’s sodas! Especially the cream soda! 4. Don’t forget to ask for a warm tortilla with your salad if they don’t give you one!

Lots of choices between various salads or make your own salad and many salad dressings to choose from! Their salad portions are huge. I wish they can offer half size on portions and thus lower prices too. Cobb salad is very good with blue cheese dressing. Will have to try their bacon Russian dressing, which seems to get good raves. The lines at lunch are quite long so get there before noon. It does move somewhat fast. But like almost all Crown places, not many tables or chairs, so order your salad to go and hope someone leaves!

when ive been eating too much junk and want to feel better about myself, i come to chop’t to eat a little«healthier»(aka 600 – 700 calorie salads lol). very fresh made-to-order salads and you can order from a list of their classic salads or pick and choose your own ingredients. all of the classic salads ive tried so far have been deeeeeelicious. i LOVE their dressings. the chop’t classics like the smoky bacon russian or the mexican caesar add a punch of flavor or sometimes i get the spa dressings when i want something lighter. make sure to try the puck’s fountain sodas too — very interesting flavors and i think they use real sugar. a $ 10 salad aint cheap but itll leave you full and satisfied!

I’m so glad Chop’t has made its way to the ‘burbs! This one is no different than any other Chop’t I’ve been to – fresh ingredients, quick service, quality meal. That said, the menu is definitely overwhelming, so it’s definitely worth looking at the options before you go so that you don’t hold up the line! This is not a cheap meal by any means, most options will set you back about $ 10. I usually opt for a veggie-only salad to save some bills. I’ll eat about half for lunch with something else(maybe soup or half a sandwich from home), and then throw some meat on it for dinner so I get the most out of it.

Best lunch in Gaithersburg. Ever since the place opened, I haven’t went 2 weeks without it. Now that I have a new job that allows for longer lunch breaks, I might even be here every other day. The thing I love the most here besides the quick and extremely friendly service, is the variety of ingredients offered. The dressings are incredible, and the fresh pita bread on the side is delicious. I almost feel like my salad is too good to be deemed«healthy.» My salad: –romaine lettuce –Baja chicken –white cheddar cheese –Parmesan cheese –cherry tomatoes –bacon –croutons –avocado –red onion –Chili lime dressing(yummmm) –Tex Mex ranch –sweet and smokey Chipotle Love it.

Downtown Crown… 3 parking garages in the shopping center. Located in the row where La Madeline, Yogiberry, and Asia Nine are and where Ted’s Bulletin will soon open. Across from Paladar. The salads are fresh. The pita they give you on the side is also very good. You can ask them not to chop certain things if you do not want it chop’t. They are very accommodating and are helpful. They have the level up app so if you have it use it! Level up is a rewards program so you can spend money that you’re already going to spend and later get enough points(100) to get $ 10 to spend at the store. They also sell Boulder chips in single servings, also available at Harris Teeter.

My wife is the biggest Chop’t fan — she goes to the DC location a lot and keeps telling me about it. So I finally had a chance to go there as this location is close to my work. It is like a Chipotle type of restaurant. You place your order and watch them chop your salad. You can specify how much salad dressing you want as well. I had the cobb salad with smoky bacon Russian dressing. At close to $ 10, it ain’t cheap but it was a pretty tasty and very filling salad. Much better then I expected. They have a huge menu so it’s a little overwhelming which salad to choose. The soda fountain has Puck’s fountain sodas — supposed to be healthier then your usual Coke and Pepsi products. The Diet Black Cherry soda was pretty good. Make sure to download their app as you get $ 10 off when you spend over $ 100 — which can be done after 10 trips.

Chipotle-esque in nature, you can build your own salad or customize one of theirs. You can pick between romaine lettuce, hearts of palm, spinach, kale, spring mix, or arugula. For my Chop’t Po Boy I asked if I could get spinach instead of romaine, to which the employee behind the counter replied yes and gave me romaine anyway. My bad, I should have asked if I MAY have spinach– guess they don’t mess around at Chop’t. The other poor souls behind the counter are stuck with chopping your greens and the rest of your salad ingredients together, why they don’t just pre-chop? Who knows, but it’s quite entertaining/novel. You’d never catch me behind there because I’ve got too much arm fat to be chopping up a storm like that for the general public. They also ask you specifically how much dressing you want which is always nice. The Po Boy had fried chicken, red onions, and WHITECHEDDAR, paired with dijon vinaigrette, it’s quite good. The dressing was veryyyyy strong though, but at least my sinuses are cleared. For $ 9 you get a huge salad with relatively little regret.
