I had a broken earring that needed fixing and, based on the reviews on Unilocal,took it here. Not only did they he get the work done within a day, it was done beautifully. The price was far more reasonable than what I was expecting and he made adjustments to other pieces while I was there. I’m definitely going back again. A+

I sat on one of my rather elaborate sterling silver rings and it completely warped out of shape. The owner took a look at it, brought it to the back to fix, and brought it back out perfect again within a few minutes. He charged me the quoted price of $ 10 for the fix and I could not have been more pleased.

My fiancé purchased the sapphire for my engagement ring here a little over a year ago. My fiancé bought the band separately, and Ricky put them together for a great price, as well as giving him a load of information on precious stones. He also did a prong repair and cleaning on my ring completely for free. We were blown away by his sincerity, honesty, and amazing service. What my fiancé paid for our ring was less than half what he would’ve paid for a similar ring at a big box jewelry store! If you’re in the market for jewelry, whether it be an engagement ring or otherwise, avoid the big box jewelry stores and head over to J&R Jewelers — you won’t find this level of service and courtesy anywhere else. I purchased my Omega Seedmaster from J & R Jewlers, The owner knows what he is talking about and gave a me a great price. The watch had all the correct boxes, cards and paperwork, the watch came arrived in less than a week and it was sized in house the day I picked it up. I will keep coming to J & R for all our families jewelry needs, great company with great results.

I needed my wedding ring resized– both the engagement ring and the band actually. I considered swinging by Kay Jeweler’s or another chain, but after doing some research, realized that these places typically do not have an in house jeweler. They actually ship items out for resizing, which makes me a bit nervous. So my search began for a local jeweler who had a good reputation and could resize my ring on site. J & R Jewelers had 10 great reviews on Google and I thought it was worth a shot to take my ring there. I walked in to the shop and Ricky greeted me kindly. He looked at my ring and gave me a couple options for how he’d resize it, and told me he could do it that same day. Not only did he get it done that same day, but he called me about an hour later to tell me it was ready to pick up. And when I went to pick it up, my ring looked incredible. I could barely tell it had been worked on at all. My husband even commented that the band looked even better than it did before (maybe that was just because Ricky cleaned it after the resizing :)) Fair price, honest assessment of the work to be done, and a super speedy resizing process– I’d recommend Ricky and J & R Jewelers to anyone! (PS while I was in there I was able to browse their custom jewelery and it is all stunning…)

The owner promised to repair my wife’s necklace clasp (purchased elsewhere) within the week. Actually performed the service within four hours! Did an immaculate job with it, clearly taking pride in his work. All for a flat $ 25. I couldn’t have been more pleased!
