This is NOT a review of service but of customer service. I called first thing in the morning, the woman explained the process and assured me she’d get back to me in under an hour and could have a technician to me in around two hours. Based on her estimated arrival I kept the kids home and cancelled two other lice picker appointments. She called back in an hour, but instead of the morning 2 hour window, she now told me a technician could not arrive before 6:30 pm. I said «damn it’, «you estimated 2 hours, I kept kids home, now they’ll miss school and I forfeited other appointments that cannot be rescheduled». The woman told me because I said «damn it» she’d now not send a technician ever and hung up on me.

I highly recommend LiceDoctors! Needless to say, I was freaking out when I found out that my daughter had lice (and would soon find out that my son and I also had it). I was home on my last days of maternity leave after having twins and was completely overwhelmed with having to deal with this. I called Lice Doctors and they came that afternoon. Dianne was awesome — even with my tender headed daughter. She was knowledgeable and thorough. It cost us quite a bit — but it saved me time and stress and was worth it in the end. The high price is the only reason why I didn’t give them five stars.

Licedoctors has been a godsend so far. We are one week into our treatment, and so far things are going very well. We have Licedoctors to thank for our present favorable results and our present non-​panicked state of mind.
Lice is one of those problems that you don’t generally advertise when you have it. As a result, when it happens it is natural not to know what to do. Our good neighbor previously went through this, and when we shared that we needed help, they told us about LiceDoctors.

I wouldn’t wish lice on anyone. But if anyone asked our opinion or advice, (which presumably is what you are doing), we would not hesitate to recommend LiceDoctors (and Diane!).

Licedoctors in home treatment was fantastic! I suspected my daughter had lice and was told she didn’t by her pediatrician. They said it was dry scalp. Two months later she was still itching and I began itching too. After confirming we did, in fact, have lice, I immediately freaked out. A friend told me about licedoctors and I called them right away. The technician, Diane, came out the next day and treated my whole family. She was extremely professional and very nice. She thoroughly explained lice and dispelled many myths I had heard about it. She treated all of us and walked me through every step so that we could properly complete the follow up treatments. Although its still overwhelming, I feel much more confident than I would have had I used an over the counter treatment product. I also love that this treatment includes no harsh chemicals… all natural. The only thing i wish is that they would include a follow up visit after the 3 weeks of treatments. I think it would give me great peace of mind to know we had successfully treated it all ansmd completely gotten rid of any signs of the lice. Pricey service but worth every penny!
