Solid food, at a fair price with a friendly owner who cares about the product. SWAT opened up a couple weeks ago and I got to try a two of their wraps recently. I’m looking forward to going back for their cheese steaks some time, but for now I have tried the buffalo chicken wrap and the tuna fish wrap. They warm up the tortilla on the grill, which is the way any good burrito style sandwich should be made, but you don’t always find that. The buffalo wrap was flavorful, but could have been more spicy for my taste. He did give a nice dipping sauce, however, that had a little kick to it. The tuna was very cold and fresh which was appreciated on a hot day. They had 4 specials on the board which were $ 10 each INCLUDING side and a drink. That is a good food truck deal! Too often on food trucks these days, if you want a drink and a side, you are paying $ 12-$ 15 for a roadside lunch, which is too expensive. Ten bucks for a meal is just right. The wraps were not huge, but they weren’t lacking. The side choices on this day were chips or saffron rice. The chips are solid crunch DIRTY chips and the rice was a good portion and made up fresh. I’ll look for him again and try some of the heartier sub roll sandwiches next time!
