My daughter just LOVES her storybook theater class. Miss Rita is amazing and the kids love her. My daughter asks almost every day if it’s time for Storybook Theater class today! Everyone I have spoken to at the Academy of Fine Arts has been so helpful and friendly. I strongly recommend!

This is hidden gem in the wilds of the office parks of Gaithersburg. Hidden on the backside of a building down a random side road that you would never be traveling by accident is this wonderful school. Most of their classes are for children, but they are offering a few group adult classes for piano, guitar, and dance. I imagine the children’s classes are excellent, but I headed over on Saturday for the adult guitar lessons, and it was great! Only ended up being me and one other student, so I was able to get lots of personal attention. And the teacher was wonderful. He gave us a lot of information in a very short period of time, and really gave me practical things to work on at home. One half hour lesson in and he has made a world of difference in my confidence in my ability to learn to play! Definitely recommend. :-)
