Galena Beads

The owner, Jan Ketza, is a remarkable lady with incredible talent. Not only does she have her great artwork hanging in this historic building in downtown Galena, but her shop is incredible — it’s laid out with so much «eye candy». I stopped in to buy a necklace for myself (splurge!) and it was hard to buy just one. Yet, I was able to find one that fit my personality. Jan even offered to custom make one to match my daughter’s passion (cats). Jan’s jewelry pairs wonderfully — earrings, bracelets, necklaces… fashion forward and quality work. I didn’t take a class there (she has beading classes too) — but I did see some folks come in as she was setting up to get them going. Stop by — you won’t be disappointed! Take a souvenir from a real Galena artist home with you and forever.
