What a fun, fabulous, unique, and time-absorbing store! I felt like the selection just kept going and going, especially when I ventured up to the second floor. I came close to purchasing several things but resisted until I got to one of my favorite things — a newly acquired love — tea. I purchased a couple bags of loose leaf tea, perfect for the new Krups loose leaf brewing tea kettle that I had received for Christmas. The tea has been very delicious, but I was disappointed that the shop bags their own. I asked what brands the loose leaf bags are, and the helpful sales associate told me several different companies. Since I live in Pittsburgh, it will be impossible for me to find this tea again. Oh well — I’ll just have to enjoy it while it lasts!

You can find any weird strange kitchen item here that you would need. I’ve purchased a few things from here to help in my kitchen. I recently purchased a lettuce storage bin. It works great! They recently merged with a tea shop. I am a tea drinker and I love the selection and the beautiful tea pots.

Like a mini Sur La Table on the downtown strip in Galena. Fun to browse or shop for that fancy kitchen implement, if you don’t mind the lack of elbow room ;)

Love this store, tons of great kitchen stuff and the person who range me up was a sincerely nice person. I’d definitely go spend more next time I’m in town.

The variety of items for the kitchen and the layout made it a favorite shop on my recent trip to historic Galena. I loved the samples of marmalade and jellies with tiny crackers. I found a floating tea infuser that I absolutely needed to get for my loose leaf tea enjoyment – and wow do they ever have a great collection of bagged and loose teas! Will be back on my next visit, can’t wait to see what’s new!

I don’t even know how to cook very well but I could spend hours in this store. It reminds me of Sur La Table but maintains more of a small town shop instead of a chain-like establishment. I found an adorable bear pancake pan to use for my son. In fact, there were several great little kid-friendly items to pick from which made it a tad harder to settle on an item. They also had about 10 dips with corresponding dipping items(pretzels, chips, etc) to try. They were all excellent and one was so delicious that I bought the key ingredient on site to use for an upcoming Memorial Day BBQ. Had they not had the tasting stations, I would have never paid the food products any attention. Kudos to them for bringing the product direct to my taste buds! It made it hard to pass up! Hehe.
