Dove Tail is a great place to find gifts in Galesburg. They carry all handmade things — lots of ceramics and jewelry. I love the pottery. They carry local artist’s work, including Chris Dokolasa.

Wow-cool gallery with earthy & unusual items. Lots of leaf and tree themed pieces from paintings to clay sculptures. Wooden measuring cups, scoops and spoons. Lots of jewelry and bags. However, most everything was out of my price range which was surprising. I figured there would be some inexpensive items. Necklaces seemed to be well over $ 100 each with most of the ones I like arounf $ 150 – 160. The wooden measuring items were all over $ 20 apiece so a set would’ve been nearly $ 100. Lots of stuff wasn’t priced but at that point I knew when I shouldn’t even ask! I will be back here to browse and again, if you need a cool gift and are shopping in the $ 100+ price range, go here first!
