Enterprise Rent-A-Car

Great location next to the Amtrak station. Less than a block. In the past, I had a train delayed and one of the employees was kind enough to stay a half hour after closing so I could get my rental. This time, I showed up at 8am to rent my car and drove away at 8:15am. FIFTEEN MINUTES! No rental agent is that fast anywhere else I’ve been! Quick, efficient, and friendly agents is what you’ll find here. I have to return to Galesburg six times per year and I always rent a car at Enterprise. It’s is always a pleasure. The only reason I’m not giving them five stars is for the hours of operation. There is a train that arrives from Chicago daily at 8:38pm…AFTER this location closes. Unfortunately, that’s the train I usually take. So it means that I’m without a car until they open the next morning. Spoiled rotten of me, I know. But it’s fairly inconvenient for that first night in town. No matter, they have a loyal customer in me. I’ll be back in April :)

Location is great for Amtrak passengers. Lot is small, but we got the car we wanted. The car we got hasn’t had an oil change for 7,000 miles, so it makes me question how often they maintain their cars. Representative was not very friendly, but professional.
