Torpedo is simple, light and amazingly delicious! First place I eat every time I come to Galesburg to visit. Wish there was one in Arizona!

A Galesburg staple. To me the pasta and sandwiches are average. But, the garlic bread and cinnamon bread are flippin’ fantastic.

I would give this place 0 stars if I could. Ordered our meal and paid. Sat down at a table and the lady that rang us up came over and told us that the food we had ordered was only available as carry out. They then brought our food out of the kitchen in a bag and put it on a bench by the door. My girlfriend asked why we couldn’t eat it there, and they said«if we let you eat it here we would have to let everyone». It was very confusing and they were extremely rude to us. I’ve never been kicked out of a restaurant for wanting to eat there before.

It cost my husband and I almost $ 30 for a ravioli dinner and a lasagna dinner. The ravioli was ok, but had barely any sauce. The lasagna was the poorest excuse for lasagna I’ve ever seen… it was thrown together with a couple of noodles, a little sauce and burnt up meat. The portions were not worth the money and the garlic bread was soggy. We will not be going back and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone! This is sad considering I go to the Lagondola in Bartonville every once in a while and have never had a bad meal, the place is clean and the service is wonderful! The Galesburg establishment gives Lagondola a bad name!

Unclean, poor quality sandwiches, and disgusting bathroom with no handle(hole in the door!).

After moving out of state nearly 15 years ago, I still crave the food here on a regular basis. Every time I go back to visit, I make it a point to eat here, usually multiple times. I also make it a point to order some bread to take back home with me and I usually end up eating it all before I even make it back home. Order a bucket of spaghetti, a torpedo, a couple loaves of garlic bread and a couple loaves of regular bread and your family with love you more than they do right now. Also, if you’re an owner reading this, let’s talk about bringing you out here to the Grand Canyon state. I’ll operate it, but I might eat up all the profits. Seriously though, you can’t order a bucket of spaghetti out here. I think it would do very well.

Amazing spaghetti, meatballs and garlic bread. Enough said. This Galesburg staple has been around forever and is a must for anyone who dares to visit the town which if not for Lagondola would be hell on earth.

Good food but dining room needs to be refreshed. I think David Lee Roth was still relevant when the décor was in style. Circa 1984. Torpedoes are delicious sub sandwiches and pizza bread is an excellent choice Too.
