I have been going to the Galesburg Antique Mall for years. They have a little(or a lot) or everything — furniture, jewelry, china, figurines, etc. My favorite room is on the the third floor. The ceilings are really high and there are always unexpected treasures up there like persian rugs and paintings. The prices are a little bit high on some things, but it’s a really fun place to treasure hunt. If you’re in town for the day, I suggest grabbing a bite at the Landmark or Inkeeper’s — or for a slice of pizza, try Baked. They are all within two blocks of the Antique Mall.

Really interesting place to shop and meander. It’s quite large, so don’t go in with the anticipation of seeing EVERYTHING, because you will kinda hate yourself by the time you get out. However, I do like that it’s really reasonably priced — I just bought a large globe of the Earth(fairly recent too) for just 12 dollars. The staff also has a great knowledge of the contents of the store, and if you ask them a vague-ish question(i.e. Chinese objects/clothing for a cultural lesson on the Chinese New Year), they’re able to point you in a very specific direction. Also, this is the location of the annual Galesburg Chocolate Festival. For less than the price of a movie ticket you can go in and sample basically chocolate anythings to your heart’s content.

This is a really great antique mall with lots of cool stuff! I like it and go there when passing through unless it is the wrong time of day.
