Ate here just once when in town visiting family. They allow smoking, which makes the dark interior even less appealing. I suppose I felt okay eating there, but it didn’t seem like a clean establishment. I only saw one waitress, and she was kind of curt with us. The prices aren’t as low as they should be for the quality offered. I say avoid.

I’ve eaten here a couple of times when I have been in Gallatin on business. The breakfast menu is good and I would recommend sticking to it. I had the soup and sandwich special one day and the soup, was good, but a bit ‘thin’. The portions, except for the ‘special’ each day are average in size. The ‘specials’ are too big and hearty for what I like to eat for lunch. The lunch specials are heavier fare like roast beef, mashed potatoes, gravy and a vegie. The Corner Café is what it is, a small town corner café. The coffee is not very good, so I suggest sticking with water or a soft drink. They are a cash only establishment, so if you don’t have cash and are not a local who can write a check, you can’t use your plastic to pay.
