LongHorn Steakhouse

We were with a large group and our server (can’t remember her name. Liz maybe? Amy? Patricia? Gertrude?) did a great job taking care of us. She even joined in on some of the shit talk all of us guys were giving each other. She hustled and took care of our drinks in timely fashion, and we were a large group of dudes ready to imbibe.
The loaded baked potato skins were delicious as were the beer cheese dip and the brisket nachos. My main course was chicken and broccoli. The broccoli was too hard and not cooked/​steamed long enough and my boneless skinless chicken breast had skin on it. It was juicy and cooked perfectly but the skin and some other miscellaneous tendons and sinews made the chicken displeasing.
We had a great time. I wasn’t too impressed with the bartender however. She made it a point to come to our table to tell us how hard she worked and that we should thank her for pouring all of our beers. Umm, hello! That’s your freakin job girlfriend!

Came for lunch– had a chicken sandwich. There is a nice amount of options for those who came with a steak fan but maybe are not into red meat, themselves.
Nice variety of sandwiches, soups and salads.
Staff was efficient and polite and we didn’t have to wait around for service.

This is the first time we’ve been to the Gallatin Longhorn Steakhouse, but I’ve come to trust Longhorn to consistently have great steaks. And this location didn’t let us down.
For us, the main attraction is always the beef, but they are featuring a beefsteak tomato & bacon salad that was simply amazing. I do wish they hadn’t brought our steaks immediately after we got our salads. My wife and I both got Flo’s Filet, and the meat was great. It was served with a butter sauce that I really liked, but was way too salty to suit my wife.

I’m not a big fan of chain restaurants but this place is pretty good. My meal was tasty and good quality. The service is excellent.

My family and I have eaten at numerous Longhorn locations, and this particular location is where we consistently have service issues.
Issues with this particular location are probably 90% attributed to the service staff, that at times can seem to just disappear, even when the place isn’t busy.
If you are the type of person that is OK with sending an entrée back for a good reason (steak not cooked correctly) than just be sure to check things out when they arrive. My wife likes her steak cooked med-​well, so when it comes out rare it can tend to throw a wrench in the whole meal.

Great steak house especially for the Gallatin area. I have had most items on the menu and all are good. You can’t go wrong with any of there steaks. Another favorite of mine is the shrimp and lobster chowder.

We have been waiting for 45 minutes when we were told it would be 30 and it looks like no end in sight. People are complaining all around us about their wait and we heard one table said they have not seen a server in 30 minutes. I have always enjoyed the food here so probably too early to post this but I will repost after dinner. Stay tuned!
Follow up. So the food is good although mine was a bit cold. Way overpriced though. You just expect better cuts of meat for the price. Service was outstanding. Our server tried her best to make it a good experience.

I came to Tennessee for 18 days of work. I’ve eaten or will have eaten here at least 10 times. The food is consistent, it’s easy, and there is great service at the bar.

Really good steak and sandwiches, love the atmosphere.
Service is slow and place is packed at night, so try to plan ahead and come early

I’ve given up on this place. I went in for a late lunch and could not get anyone to seat me. Staff was to busy chatting and flirting with each other.

One of the best chain restaurants in town! Always good food and attentive staff on our visits.

This is a favorite in Gallatin, where good service, good food and a pleasant atmosphere are a rarity and even more rarely appreciated. The menu is as you would expect it if you’ve been to another LongHorn and the food is prepared well… not perfectly, but well enough relative to the price. The Wife always orders a filet, because she believes it is the only steak good enough for her, and she is always pleased, although in my opinion ‘medium’ can result in a wide range of things. I came here to celebrate a friend’s birthday and was happy with the salad, bread, steak and wine.
My only complaint is about the other patrons. If we were being hospitable and southern, we would say they simply don’t know any better, but they really should, it being 2015 and all. Gallatin is no Franklin (or even Hendersonville, for that matter), but it’s hardly Bethpage, and yet the customers seem not to know how to behave indoors-​or in public. This is an irritation, although I can hardly blame LongHorn for taking their money. Perhaps they should institute a spelling test before seating patrons indoors, though.

This is a fun place to eat. The food is always good and so is the service. One word of advice… have dinner early especially on holidays. We had NY eve dinner there and arrive at 4 pm. had about a 10 minute wait but by the time we were done eating around 530 there was a line all the way out the door. We arrived early and had happy hour priced wine ($ 4) and margaritas (5 $) and it was the same great food and service. I never understand why people all want to crowd in at the traditional ‘dinner hour’ and then wait for 45 min. Go Early! Eat Drink and be Merry!

Came here for dinner w/​B’s cousin and wife.
We had a great time and it’s always nice to get together during the holidays. The hostess was friendly and our server was sweet. She was attentive, informative, and kind. Our water cups were always filled. The restaurant is clean and spacious. Our food was tasty and definitely «A-​OK.» I wouldn’t say that these are the best steaks out there, but still very tasty. I like the different side options that come with each meal. Their complimentary bread and butter is pretty darn good. I tried some of my cousin-​in-​laws Parmesan Crusted Chicken and it was delicious. Highly recommended!
Overall, we had a pleasant dinning experience here. The company was the best: D

This place could be good but the past two times I have come here there has been a debacle. Either out of food, under staffed, or there system is down. Unfortunately the food isn’t awesome to overcome other issues. I will not be back to this location.

One of my favorite restaurants! Definitely the best service and food. And if you don’t like the wait they give you an option to call ahead of time to reserve your table. Which in that way it makes it amazing. Always clean and has very nice staff that is attentive to your needs.

Man you can not walk by this place without getting hungry. The smoke from their pit spills an intoxicating aroma over the parkinglot. Great food and drinks but it is a little expensive.

Not from this area, but stopped in for lunch and the food and service was exceptional!

We’ve been here a few times and while the steaks are tasty, they have undercooked my boyfriend’s steak the last two times we’ve been here. I didn’t think it was too difficult to cook a $ 22 steak medium rare but it is. Last two times that has happened, we always have to wait for them to throw his steak back on the grill (I wait because, well, I’m a great girlfriend) and they apologize but that’s the extent of it. By the time it comes back, mine is cold (my fault, I know), but you would think they would at least offer something other than an apology.

Good service however too expensive for what you get.
