My mother and I have used Ruben to repair many things he fixed a strap on a luggage bag that was very thick and time consuming. I needed a pair of boots stretched and returned to go to a funeral he came on his day off and made a special trip to town to meet me and get my boots back to me. He put new heels on my daughter shoes. He has stretched and shined up several pairs of boots. His prices are reasonable. My mom had a pair of shoes resoled. He is very considerate and honest.

This is a great leather and shoe repair shop. I had a pair of work boots repaired that saved me the cost and hassle of buying a new pair. The repaired sections look stronger than the original. Ruben, the owner, is very friendly and takes a lot of pride in his work. Excellent service and craftsmanship with very fair prices. Even though it’s a good drive for me, I’ll certainly frequent the shop again.

This is a tiny leather and shoe repair shop tucked away off South Water road. It’s run by a wonderful Mexican man by the name of Ruben. I dropped off a pair of dress shoes and he replaced ½ of the sole for $ 45. The full sole replacement is $ 100, so his prices are consistent with what you’ll pay elsewhere. He accepts cash only. He does all sorts of shoe work, as well as leather work, and he also has quite a used shoe collection that he’s repaired. He has some $ 200 pairs of shoes in there for $ 35. Give this guy a chance!
