Restore You found visible mold on the ceiling of our shore house master bedroom and heavy mold in the attic that went down the walls into the bedroom closet. IICRC standards of practice and protocol were followed. Containment areas were set up for the 2 back bedrooms and hallway to protect them from loose mold spores due to deconstruction. Negative air was used to insure the contaminated air did not go into the house, but was pulled outside. Mold contaminated insulation was removed in the attic and was replaced. Loose mold spores were HEPA vacuumed, then the area was sprayed with hydrogen peroxide cleaner to kill the mold before they removed the sheet rock. The closet outside wall, bathroom side wall and ceiling were removed. Walls were HEPA vacuumed and cleaned, then treated. Ceiling bays in bath and bedroom were removed and replaced. New sheetrock was installed, then finished. Our home was fogged with an anti microbial and ozone machine to cleanse the air. Trim that was removed was re-installed. Two vent pipe on the roof, one that caused the problem to begin with, were both resealed. Member Comments: Everything went perfectly! Art sent me pictures every step of the way since I was out of town during the process. This showed me how much work he and his crew were doing and kept me well informed. The mold problem in our summer home due to a leak in a pipe that vented through the roof was so bad that the musty smell it caused in the master bedroom made the room unusable. Art from Restore You did a wonderful job resolving our mold problem. He was conscientious, efficient and did a quality job. Clean up afterwards was complete and thorough. He did the job the way a job should be done-correctly! A pleasure to work with, highly personable, great communicator who knew exactly what he was doing. By far the best contractor I have ever worked with. I would hire him again with no qualms whatsoever. I highly recommend Restore You!
