Review of their«One hour photo» I came about 15 minutes after my photos were listed in being done. 3 workers standing at the counter talking and laughing. I am glad they can have fun but maybe we should complete our tasks beforehand. The assistant told me that it would take a few minutes as there were only 5 pictures in front of mine. The assistant comments to her fellow worker that their machine popped up with orders during the break. She wasn’t even printing pictures when i walked in which means the pictures were just sitting in the queue. Maybe I wouldn’t have been so annoyed but I was on a time crunch and the pictures were going with me to be delivered to someone else as a gift. «I know I should have planned ahead.» It took about 10 – 15 minutes before I got my pictures. The staff was friendly but I will return to my Walgreens in Hilliard where I have always had the pictures ready when i walk through the door.

This is the closest Walgreens to my house, it’s right across from my favorite Kroger, so it ends up being my go-to pharmacy when I need something. First off, the staff here is fairly consistent — same people each time I go in — and they’re all pretty friendly and helpful. Most times, I’m just going back to the pharmacy department, but the times that I’ve purchased items and paid up-front I’ve had a good experience. The pharmacy staff varies, as far as the speed of service and helpfulness. There have been days when I’ve had my doctor send a prescription electronically in the morning, and when I go to pick it up(in-stock item, mind you), it’s not ready, or it’s the wrong item and they have had to re-do the order. I’ve had other days where I’ve walked in with a prescription and I’ve been in and out in a few minutes. Again, varies. I can’t blame Walgreens entirely for electronic prescription filling issues, because there are two sides to the transaction(doctor to pharmacy) but it’s still annoying, and it’s happened a few times before. The finger-pointing and back and forth doesn’t help when I’m waiting for my medications, so I’ve taken to asking for a paper prescription, as paper doesn’t crash or get lost in transit. One of the nice things about this location is the decent selection of FSA items. Although this Walgreens location no longer tags FSA items on the shelf, all registers can look items up to see if they are FSA, so that’s helpful. They’ve always been considerate looking up items, even when I’ve brought up a lot. A drawback is that it is not a 24-hour Walgreens, so if I need something and it’s late, I need to drive a mile or so down Broad Street to the other location, which is open 24 hours. This location has a propane gas canister exchange system in the front, outside. Other services include a wellness center«Take Care Clinic» and a one-hour photo area with self-service kiosks as well, plus a RedBox kiosk near the front. Nice store, good staff, and a decent selection of products and services. And if you need something past closing time, there’s a 24-hour Walgreens right down the street.
