It was good, standard Cracker Barrel. Cole slaw was really good, and I am picky about Cole slaw.

3.5 stars: service was quite good this morning. The food was ok. Not exactly the pinnacle of culinary arts, Cracker Barrel is decent for the basics when you don’t want to cook. The OJ and eggs were good.

HAHA, Come on Cracker Barrel, you can do better than this. I stopped in and wanted a good breakfast. Well I should have known. There was very few people here when I stopped in. First clue. The service was slow and the food was just ok. I thought it would be really good from what I had been told. Well it was just ok. I am not sure if it was the slow service or the food was just not that good. Whatever this trip here was just flat ok. I hope everyone try’s this place and gives a real review. Mine was just my visit as I traveled thru. Just ok!

Eating with my dear Grandson Reuben on our way to Kentucky where he is moving to. His first visit to CB as we don’t have this place in CA to experience the deliciousness of this famous restaurant chain. All his belongings in a truck hauling his car behind us. We Sharing that task. Extreme winds creating a hearty appetite in which enjoy this most delightful respite.

I love Cracker Barrels. I know their food is plain and it’s a country place but we don’t them in California so when I get to go it’s like a big treat. My service was good and I ordered the catfish. I always recommend this place because it’s fun.

So, this Cracker Barrel simply doesn’t measure up to many of the other ones I have visited around the country. They all have the same food, yes however the freshness of the food at this location isn’t always up to par. For instance, today I ordered my typical haddock dinner with the 3 sides. Side salad, green beans, and mac & cheese. The green beans were obviously sitting around a long time. They simply weren’t very fresh and were barely warm. The salad had quite a few wilted pieces of lettuce. The floors were very dirty, with crumbs and pieces of food strewn about. The employees, and managers obviously don’t share in the typical Cracker Barrel passion of the business. I was hungry, and didn’t want to wait until I got to Flagstaff to eat at the Cracker Barrel there. Will I dined at this particular location again… Yeah, probably so if I’m hungry enough.

It is what it is. Buy sometimes you just want pancakes for dinner! Be prepared, take out is very slow.

Dinner was great. Food was delicious and hot. Ans very full. This place maintains the reputation of other cracker barrel that we have eaten at. My country fried steak cane with three sides, but only wanted to so they made it half and half. It was like getting an extra portion of green beans and mashed potatoes. Look forward to lunch tomorrow after we check out. Our server April was polite and took care of us.

The food is really good, I just wish they’d offer dinner rolls instead of biscuits and corn muffins, nobody wants a biscuit or corn muffin with a steak, HELLO! And it’s like they want the store side to have the most room instead of the dinning room, they have a huge online store, so have a few nick-nacks in the building yeah but not 3 quarters OF the building dedicated to the store, and the store is so crowded with stuff everywhere, it’s chaos! Customers need a bigger dinning space, we’ve had to wait 10 minutes or more for a tiny 4 person table. But that ties in to my major complaint, every time my family of 5 grown adults has eaten here, they’ve sat us at a 4 seat table with one of us sitting at the end like a kid. And you know there isn’t enough room for plates, drinks and all that extra stuff. It’s so uncomfortable and awkward, we look around and there’s 2 – 4 people at a HUGE table and there we 5 are, at a 4 person table. And plus for the price $ 80 bucks plus a tip, that’s where they sit us, I mean come on, we can have a more comfortable and roomy dinning experience at Taco Bell for half the price, seriously $ 45 bucks with NO tip! We will never eat here again!

Waited for one hour to get my to go order and after I got back to my hotel room I found the items they gave me were not what I ordered. Low efficiency, indifferent attitude. I wish I could give a negative rating for this place.

My husband and I had the opportunity to eat an early dinner there after traveling on the road for 3 nights. we were at our last hotel stay. we have loved eating at the Cracker Barrel so thought this would be a good idea. Staff was friendly restaurant was clean food was not as good as we were used to at previous Cracker Barrels in the Midwest. I would go back if I was traveling in that area again average price per person $ 9.99

HAVEAGAIN: The Old Timer’s Breakfast is what I almost always have the one or two times I’m in Cracker Barrel country. Just a delicious combination of delicious food. And, the service here was very good.

The place is like most others but the service! Every time I came here over the last few days I was seated fast and the service staff was fast and quick with the drinks. Took the order fast and were friendly and almost happy to see you! No bad parts here for me!

Unilocal Challenge 13⁄100 I love Cracker Barrel and I haven’t seen one in a really long time, so I was very happy to stop here for dinner. It’s just the same as every other location I’ve been to, with all the things to love about it. The only thing I wasn’t a fan of was their new strawberry iced tea… but that’s probably a matter of personal taste. I swapped it for a regular lemonade. Everything else was just great!

I would not recommend this specific CB due to the staff. Very unfriendly and unprofessional. Asked for a table of 9, sat us at a table for 12. Then had to have 2 waitresses wait on us bc we had such a «large» party(5 adults, 3 kids, 1 baby). Chaos with the waitresses taking orders at the same time. Also, they bring drinks out to al of us… three kids with cups with lids and holes for straws… No straws?! Yep… they«ran out» of straws…

Food was filling. Price reasonable. Dining area clean. Bathroom could use a little tightening up for the dinner hour crowd.

Classic cracker barrel. Always good. Great prices. Big portions. Highly recommend!!! Only negative was that they don’t carry both cobblers(peach and blackberry) every night. They switch off each day.

Stayed at the motel next door and had supper from the breakfast menu. I am from east Tennessee and have eaten many, many meals at Cracker Barrels — this was the worst experience. I had biscuits and gravy — biscuits were hard — obviously been sitting out for a long time. Gravy was too thick, bland, and lukewarm. Only saving grace was the side order of green chiles. I should have sent it back. Waitress was nice, but the woman working the register was all but unpleasant. I will not go back.

Yay for Cracker Barrel when we needed a quick stop after hitting a few of the trading post shops here in Gallup. Helpful staff, clean bathroom, yay. Otherwise, it’s the same as every other CB I’ve been to.

I arrived in Gallup around 7AM and was starving. I had two choices… Cracker Barrel or another chain restaurant that rhymes with Lenny’s. Of course, I chose Cracker Barrel. One thing that’s consistent with all of them is huge portions and great prices. Upon checking in, one of my Unilocal buds reminded me that she has been here before and received terrible service. That’s one thing about Cracker Barrel. Service can either be really good or really bad. At this location, I lucked out and got pretty good service. What use to be good at a Cracker Barrel for me… Their Country Fried Steak, the Country Buttermilk Chicken, the Turkey Breast Sandwich, and surprisingly their fried catfish. However, my food choices have changed in the last couple of years. So on my most recent visit, I kept it simple with a couple of egg whites, turkey bacon, and some country potatoes. The potatoes were good, nothing really special about their egg whites, and the turkey bacon was horrible. Overall, my breakfast was just okay. I guess this is what you get when you try to eat a semi-clean meal a Cracker Barrel.
