This was a great find. Kids even loved wings, and they usually don’t eat them. We had the bruschetta, which was great. My husband and I are very picky with our Italian, if we lived here it would be a normal spot. Now since kids ate all their food, Gelato to go!

Wife and I are on a cross country tour from Texas to Portland. Traveling along Route 66 there isn’t a great many places to stop and enjoy amazing food. This place is one of them! Pizza was amazing, non-dairy gelato that is so good, and the service was outstanding. Do yourself a favor and stop in, you will be glad you did!!!

My son, his best friend and I stopped by the Fratelli’s Bistro for dinner while on vacation to the Grand Canyon, Page, AZ and Kanab, UT. The atmosphere, service and food were excellent! Thank you!

We chose Fratelli’s Bistro as it came up in Unilocal as serving Gluten Free meals. in fact it was just pizza and salad and that was just fine. Good GF pizza, nice thin base so all good. The restaurant is a relaxed casual place, lots of locals, and a relaxed casual place to dine. There was also a bar if you fancied just a drink. It was good value with good service.

I’ve returned 3 years later, and Fratelli’s has the same horrible service. I called in for take out pizza at 7pm. I was told it would be ready in 15 minutes. I arrive at 7:30pm. At 7:45pm, I was told it would take a little longer. At 8pm, I was finally told my pizza was given to someone else. I sat there listening to the staff yelling at each other about who gave the pizza away. Awkward — to say the least. If the pizza wasn’t comped at this point, I would have given a 1 star, but because it was I give a 3 star.

This place is impressive for Gallup, NM, not exactly a Mecca for the gastronomic arts. It’s a nice family joint. Go in with a good attitude and don’t mind the other customers if they aren’t friendly. The hostesses, servers and manager are friendly enough. Amanda, the server, was attentive, kind, and pretty. The garlic and parmesan dry rub wings were good. But the Alfredo fries were delicious. It’s better than the franchised eateries in the area. There aren’t too many Italian restaurants in the area flooded with Mexican style places. These guys do a good job and don’t be afraid to raise your hand for service.

Not bad — decent Pie. Picked up a pie here for a little pre-race meal. Not bad — definitely was a nice surprise. That said, the dough was a little heavy… but that would also just be their style too. Not a bad thing, just different and not quite my personal taste in Doug but again, not bad. I’d go here again and I just might stop by on my way outta town tomorrow. I see they have great reviews on their wings — after this little 12 hour race — I just may have to get my Mitts on a few, 12 or 23 of them mañana! And for the record, my experience with the service was also just fine. The gals up front were very friendly and helpful :)

I guess you can’t complain much with this being the only Italian food in Gallup, New Mexico. However, the service needs major improvement. Our server didn’t seem to want to be at work and almost always had to be flagged down to get some attention. Our second visit, was a little better. Our server did get our drinks to us quickly, but during the rest of the meal we had to compete for her to even acknowledge us. The spaghetti is tasty, but I wouldn’t recommend the Alfredo.

Came here randomly in the afternoon of a roadtrip and we were starving. The chili rubbed chicken wings are the best wings I have EVER had! They were so so good, I was sad we only got 6. Like I would literally move to Gallup just so I could have the wings every day! The pizza was also very good and the 10″ was a perfect size for 2. The waitress wasn’t very friendly, but the food made up for it!

Went there for the first time yesterday. What a pleasant surprise! We were greeted and seated right away. Our servers were great and the Owner’s Mother in law was around visiting with all the customers. We had wings that were among the best I have had, the salad was superb and my pasta and sausage was awesome!!! A new favorite!!!

Didn’t expect to find anything impressive in this area during our cross-country road trip; however, this place exceeded my expectations. Spacious seating, great service, delicious pizza, poor boy wings, and pasta. Authentic Italian. Would return and would recommend.

Italian food in Gallup??? You bet ur knickers italian food in Gallup. Now I must admit, consistency across our large party was not universally excellent. However, it was late and there was a lot of us. I have always had great food here. The pasta is well done and flavors on point. The Gelato will make you do a happy dance. Just watch out for the brain freeze because you won’t stop eating it.

Fratelli’s is by far my favorite part of Gallup. It is a casual, family friendly environment that make you feel very welcome. The food is awesome, the Gellato is awesome, and the owner is incredibly friendly. Highly recommend

Just driving through Gallup on our way to Albuquerque and we found this little gem. Gluten free pizza! My daughter and I both enjoyed our pizzas(if you like cheese I recommend ordering extra) we would definitely come back if we found ourselves in Gallup again. Service was great, AND they have gelato! Pizza is pricey, our gluten free with two toppings was $ 18.95, comparable to their other pizzas plus a couple dollars for the gluten free crust.

Stopped here on our way through New Mexico, great service and great food! They even have an outdoor patio, which we sat at since the weather was nice. We ordered the super yummy Alfredo fries and they did not disappoint! We would definitely get those again, or possibly figure out how to make them at home. Tried the mozzarella and artichoke that isn’t on the menu but is recommended and it was only ok, it can’t replace the caprese. Last we ordered a large pizza to share which was great! It was half veggie and half Alfredo with spinach and mushroom(forgot what they called it). Guess Alfredo was the theme for us. The pizza is a thicker crust, which the family loved, especially since it was cooked so nicely. Slightly Crunchy outside but the dough inside was soft. For desert we had to try the gelato, they even let us sample as many flavors as we liked. My favorite was the toasted coconut. The only reason that I didn’t give it five stars is because the prices were rather high for what we got, our bill totaled $ 75. We would stop here again for sure given the opportunity!

This is a safe stop for food if you are traveling down Rt 66 and don’t watch to eat somewhere kitschy, divey or a chain. The Alfredo fries and pizza was very good in taste and portion. We all remarked on how tasty the crust was. This casual joint appears to be filled with locals who come for pasta and gelato.

Great atmosphere and killer wings. If you want more than a small town hole in the wall Fratelli’s is your place. The menu and the décor are what you would expect to find in a mom and pop joint owned by people passionate about food. While it is not fancy, it is nice. The wings were great and they offer a variety of rubs and sauces. I got a rub and asked for sauce on the side, but didn’t needed it. The wings were perfect. The pizza was a little disappointing, I like classic NY style. The dough was soft and a little thick. The sauce and toppings were more artisan than NY. I will be back to try more of the menu.

Service was good, not great. Salad was good, not great. The Alfredo fries were definitely interesting and flavorful. I would order them again. The chicken parm was disappointing, very bland and the breading tasted burned. Wife and kids had the spaghetti and meatballs. Watery bland marinara sauce on everything. The meatballs weren’t too bad though and the«fresh basil» was soggy but not a bad addition. The bread… I wasn’t impressed but I’ve had worse. Overall I won’t be back(but thankfully I don’t live there). I’ve had much better at Fazoli’s for 1⁄3 the cost. Save your money, eat elsewhere, unless you live in Gallup and have no better place to go.

Moving from a large urban city to rural Gallup, it was wonderful to find a great Italian restaurant. The wings are phenomenal, the service has been great, and the Alfredo fries… Bacon, Aflredo, shredded pepperoncini. YUSPLEASE.(The morning after will be regretful) Instead of fries try the mozzarella, artichoke, and balsamic. It was unexpectedly delicious.

Solid little pizzeria with homemade gelato. We stopped here on Friday(July 18th) on 1 of our stops on an 11 day road trip. They had several different pizzas, pastas and sammiches. The pizzas went from traditional to inventive. One had roast beef on it, odd but interesting. I had something they called the Coach Buck. It was ham, black olives, shrooms, and garlic. The garlic was more of a sauce, no chunks. The pizza was solid, the flavor was good but the crust a little too thick for a thin crust IMO. The chicken alfredo was good according to my mom and kid. They had a few appetizers that looked good. 1 was french fries with alfredo sauce and bacon. I really wanted to try that but no one else would split it with me so I didn’t. The gelato was really good. I had the cherry cola gelato that was more cherry with a hint of cola. It was creamy and sweet as it should be. They also have 8 beers on tap and the fresh breadsticks were really good. Overall a solid pizzeria for a little western town.
