I love Love’s. But y’all know that. I don’t tend to spend a lot of time inside, just usually making a restroom run. I found this one to be the same as the others as we traveled from the East Coast. Clean, full of stuff that I don’t need but that always seems to catch my eye and the staff members are really nice here. I picked up a bag of chips and didn’t realize it was like BOGO. So the cashier told me to go grab another one. I thought that was pretty nice of her.

I have been eating Chester’s fried chicken and gizzards for at least 15 years and I have to say that my experience on 9-21-2015 was horrible. We stopped at the Chester’s in New Mexico Exit 16 in Gallup to get my fix. The gizzards were old although the girl working there said they had come out of the fryer 8 minutes before I got there. Both the gizzards and chicken were extremely overcooked. I could barely chew the gizzards which is very abnormal. This is by far the worst experience I have ever encountered at Chester’s. Very disappointing but I did inform the manager and he said he would let the restaurant manager know.

Clean and the people are friendly. They have a subway so I killed two birds with one stop lol.

Clean restrooms. Didn’t have any of the greasy food. Just grabbed a few necessities.

On road trips, I try & try sooo hard not to eat fast food(greasy fast food). I’m not a fan of Subway. Just not my cup of tea. This gas station is big. Even has several tables where you can sit down & eat. Tea selection is awesome(not quite as variety as in Asia; but it will do). I like the fact that they have some healthy choices(fresh fruit, veggies, etc.) for the health conscious.

Fast off, fast on, easy. On a gritty I-40 afternoon; June 19, 2011 we blew into Love’s Travel Stop #215. Literally. This Love’s had a Chester’s Chicken and Subway fast food. The most unusual feature was the fruit rack. Love’s usually has a lot of inexpensive bananas near the checkout for an impulse buy, apples nearby, maybe oranges. Right next to the checkout was a rack with three shelves, one each, bananas; apples, red and green, and a shelf or oranges. Grab a fruit salad on the way out. And yes, the restrooms were clean and well-stocked.
