Should have written this 5 months ago after the tech who came out(Mike?) saved us over $ 3000. We called a company our neighbor used & the tech was really nice but spent about 2 minutes looking at our system before saying«it’s $ 3,700 to fix the problem or $ 14,000 for a whole new system which is a better investment seeing yours isn’t as efficient as the newer modern models». They called every day to ask if we were ready to have our system serviced and/or upgraded; it was quite annoying & getting hot due to know air conditioner so a day before we decided to use them, I called a few friends to ask for any referrals. Two suggested J&J so we thought we would at least see if they would come out(we live pretty far from Galt) The tech from J&J spent over 20 mins on our fan/blower that no longer turned. He was able to get it running again after using whatever spray he had & manually moving it back & forth. Then he told us the computer board part that sends signals to turn the fan on was broken, and he ordered one & drove back the next day to install it. We were elated this tech spent the time to fix our unit rather than just telling us an exorbitant amount was needed. Why the first company wanted to charge almost 6x as much is beyond me. I’m thinking big company-big charges? At this point I’d call J&J and wait weeks for them to check my system instead of using anyone else. Honesty over a fast EXPENSIVE fix any day!

I had an unpleasant experience with a J&J HVAC Co. from Lodi/Galt area. Service tech was rude and flippant. I responded unkindly to his attitude and when he left I no longer had heating to my home whereas I had had heating immediately prior to his arrival. Coincidence or retaliation ? 3÷14÷16 Update: I have received a couple of communications from a ‘Jason’ regarding this rating, he states there is another heating and air company in Galt with a similar name. So let me clarify that the owner of the home I was buying contracted the services of said company, his real estate agent told me the company name and the service techs name was Jason

I am in awe of the speed and efficiency of this company. I called them at around 11:30 a.m., and my air conditioner was fixed by 2 p.m. They even had to pick up a part from Sacramento in between. The customer service was impeccable, and they knew exactly what was wrong and how to fix it. If something is wrong with your heater or air conditioner, I highly recommend J & J to fix it.

This company is awesome. Great prices and amazing customer service. I would recommend them to everyone. I love small businesses that treat you like family unlike the big HVAC in the area that are dishonest & overpriced.
