Worst towing service ever!!! To start it took them an hour and a half to get to our location which was only 14 miles away and we were the only call they had dispatched. My grandmother was ran off the road and into a ditch. When the tow truck driver showed up the first thing he said was «I’ll see what I can do, but I’m a rookie». At one point the car almost rolled over and was in worse shape than when he showed up. While he was winching it out of the ditch he severely bent the rear lower control arm. He also dragged the bumper across the road when he was loading it onto the flatbed and flattened the right front tire. He said not to worry cause they would write it off and cover the damages. When my grandma went to pick up her Mercedes the next morning the tow truck driver wrote in his paperwork that all the damage was pre-​existing and they refused to cover it. My grandpa tried to explain to them what had happened and they argued with him before kicking them both out of the office and demanded they take their car right away. Only problem was it had a rear control arm bent and a flat tire due to their driver. The manager said they needed to get the car out now and was cursing at them, but wouldn’t let them onto the property. This created a very hostile situation. They even have a CHP officer as a witness and the tow company is lying about what actually occurred and stating things that didn’t happen. They were turned over to the insurance company to file a claim against them. I will also be writing and calling the BBB about this company because I have never heard of a company more unprofessional and with this bad of customer service. I hope my name is published with this review and encourage the tow company to contact me regarding this situation. I’d love to have a chat with them.

Amazing service. Popped a tire at 1am on the way to Sac. Carl even called and made sure I made it home safely.

Thank goodness for Stans Towing. We went to Galt to buy a car and all hopes were lost when it didn’t start after getting gas. We needed a tow to Roseville. Stan’s was there in just about 30 minutes. Hooked it up and got us home. Professional, courteous and personable. What was a pretty awful experience with the car ended on a positive note.

Stan’s Auto & Towing came to my rescue when I left my keys in my car at work. My insurance covered their service to come out. When my insurance company called them, I received a text from them immediately confirming my location, make and model of my car. They went to work right away and knew what to do to help me get my keys out. Great guys, definitely recommend if you find yourself in an unpredictable situation.

My car started smoking as I was pulling out of Lodi during my move to LA. Not an awesome way to start a day. Had to have Stan’s tow my car to a local auto shop and a driver named Juniece came to pick me up and she was WONDERFUL. Very personable and friendly on top of being good at her job. She completely took the edge off of what could have been another stressful interaction in a very stressful day and I couldn’t be more thankful. I can’t speak for the quality of other drivers that may work for Stan’s but if you’re lucky enough to get Juniece I can assure you you’re in wonderful hands (and it probably speaks to the establishment that they employ such a quality individual)!

What happens when you blow out a tire at 11:30pm and you have the wife and kids, parked on the side of a freeway? Your insurance agent can only send out someone 4 hours later and the closest city to where you are is an hour’s drive away? Stressed out and worried that you’ll get rear ended by highway traffic going at 75mph is what you are.
But Stan’s Towing saved the day. You have to appreciate someone that works a low paying job, drives around on call in the middle of the night and there when you need them. Imagine the things they have to put up with people trying to haggle prices, blaming them for their car troubles.
I put in a call to Stan’s and 45 minutes later, they’re out there hauling my car back to my house (which is 1.5hours away). Takes good care of the tow and made everything simple and straightforward. I give credit where credit is due and I appreciate the hardworking men and women who do these types of jobs to keep us safe on the road. Thank you Stan for all that you do.

I used Stans Towing in Galt and a man named Carl came out, I felt very at ease sending my vehicle with him. I would recommend them to anyone.

This place is a dam joke. Don’t call you or contact you to say hey chp had us pick up your van it was burnt to the ground. They just put a line on your vehicle a week later and say o we couldn’t get ahold of u. But u had my address and called my loan company and insurance. Then mail me a lein on my vehicle. This company is a bunch of crooks won’t release my van to my insurance company till they have a release from me. I will never ever us this company for anything I will push my vehicle home before calling this bunch of dam crooks

STAN IS THE MAN!!! Praise the lord there is still business owners out there like him! Well first of all I own a Hauling Service with a Fleet of 7 vehicles and from time to time they do decide to stop cooperating and usually in the most inconvenient times and places. So i need a Tow home or to the shop occasionally. Before I found Stan’s Towing let me tell you finding a Tow service with great rates and service was impossible.
So now I found Stan’s Towing I can tell you this:
They care, they actually care! Yes, they care about you, they care about your vehicle, and they care about the situation! They really are there to help!
I have had a vehicle Towed by Stan’s that was a third of the price of other Towing companies estimates.
I love the small town customer service. I love the rates. I love how there estimated time of arrival is spot on. I love how my trucks show up to the destination in one piece, safe and sound without a single scratch on em. I also love how they are a authorized u-​haul dealer. Yes they rent u-​haul trucks as well, pretty cool huh?

1 star is too generous. The CHP called this place to tow my daughter’s SUV after she was hit on the freeway. Basically, they intentionally withhold information and don’t follow through with what they say in order to delay and keep your car on their lot and rack-​up the charges so that you will let them keep your car instead of having to pay them off. They did this to me, my daughter, and my wife. Even after going there in person and doing everything they had requested, we still were unable to get her car released to our tow guy. In just a few days of being delayed by them, we had $ 500 of unnecessary charges, When my wife wen’t back and called them on their practices, the guy physically threatened my wife. Luckily this was observed and broken up by the Allstate Claims Adjuster who happened to show up just at the right time.
Do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all costs!

I’m giving this Business one star. I have the AT&T road side service on our cell Phones. We called to have car picked up and takin to our Mechanics shop. I had made it very very clear to AT&T that my mother would be the one there with the car to have it towed. Then the driver told her that if the Registered owner was not there to sign part work he wasn’t towing it. And was very very rude to her. With the AT&T road service you can tow and and or use your service on ANY car you are with. I then had to leave a meeting I was in to call AT&T and AT&T said that the tow truck driver said the car was wrecked and all messed up. Only thing was is that the tire is messed up and it won’t steer… But come on I’m not having a tow truck take my car cuz it is driving great! There is a reason we are towing it! I would never Recommend this business for anyone!

This is a shady business with unethical towing practices! I tried to appeal to the owner Stan and provided the CA Vehicle Code to him. He repeatedly told me I was wrong. Now we will have to take actions against business in court. Don’t do business with shady places like Stan’s!

This review is long overdue as my family and myself have been a regular customer here for the past 7 years.
I rent a 20′-26′ uhaul truck from them every week and have been doing so for 7 years. Rain or shine-​even on major holidays, every Monday I am there to rent a truck. Yes, even major holidays Stan and his staff (Rodney and Mercedes) will make sure I have my truck so that I can move merchandise between my storage unit and Galt Market, where I wholesale. They will take time out of their day off and family gatherings to meet me at their place so we can get the paperwork done. That’s what I call awesome customer service.
Every Monday when I am there to check out the truck and Tuesday afternoon when I check in the truck, I am always greeted with a smile and friendly service. Friendly is not the term, after 7 years of doing business together, they have become like my extended family. Stan and his family/​staff are the most kind, generous and HONEST people I ever had the pleasure of doing business with.
I’m giving Stan’s U-​haul service 5 stars, not based on the relationship we have but, because they are really a trustworthy and dependable business. I have NEVER out of ALL 364 times doing business with them walked out of there feeling bad or having any negative thoughts.
