TOGO’S Sandwiches

Sandwich he’s are good… friendly staff. Only drawback is if you plan on eating in, expect not to hear anything, as the music is always loud

They are always slow so I thought I would try ordering and paying online to avoid the wait time. After placing the order I got a confirmation stating that the order would be ready in 20 minutes. When I showed up I had to tell them I was there to pick up my order Before they even started to make it. What’s the point of ordering and paying online when in didn’t change a thing?

It’s a Togo’s I never really stray to far from the 16 (Italian sandwich) or maybe the meatball marinara.
what else can you really say though? if you’ve been to a chain sandwich shop, you know what you’re in for!

As far as sandwiches on a sourdough roll go, you really can’t beat Togo’s. I stopped by after my hair cut/​color at Mirror Mirror Salon. The roll is just as I remember it the very first sub I had at the original location near San Jose State back in the 70’s! I had the turkey & avocado and lemme tell you they do not skimp on the avocados… big chunks of creamy just the right amount of ripeness avocados… yum! Location was clean and service just fine.

My parents visit this Togo’s frequently. My stepfather suffered a series of strokes last year. His recovery has been great, and in order to save time, my mother likes to go to this Togo’s location for affordable, healthy, and quick options for lunch. As she is his primary caregiver, anytime she can get a break at mealtime, or otherwise, is very helpful.
They appreciate the fantastic customer service.
All of this went down the toilet when trying to place an online order on Mother’s Day. We decided to grab a quick late dinner. We placed, AND PAID for, the order online for pick-​up at 8:20pm I arrived just before 8:00pm and the doors were locked. I’m not going to drag out what happened next, but the level of service was not just horrible, it was offensive on so many levels.
I asked for the contact number for the manager and left a message for him at about 8:15pm. Around 8:45 I received a callback from the manager named MIGUEL. He apologized profusely, and was just as horrified as I was in the store.
Miguel’s response was the reason for this post. The franchisee is very lucky to have such a dedicated manager. He insisted we come in for lunch, as his guests, and sent us home with gift cards.
This was not a band-​aid for a horrible situation, it was a personalized gesture to make sure customers are appreciated.
I can only hope the franchisee sees this post and commends Miguel on his phenomenal dedication to the success of this store.

I usually have a good experience here. They have a good hot pastrami. It usually takes awhile to get in and out of the store because the sandwiches take awhile to be made. I think the fact it is a dual store location with the ice cream side it slows things down. The staff seem moderately happy to work here.

Correct me if I’m wrong but the purpose of the online ordering is to save time, to have your order ready when you get there. Well, I have ordered a few times online from this location and NEVER once has it been ready when we get there. We had to wait, which isn’t saving me any time! Today was the last time. They advertise «save time, order online» this is a joke!

Go on Tuesday so that you can get the $ 6.00 combo (sandwich, drink and chips)

Awesome customer service. Sandwiches are great. The pastrami is my favorite. All around good experience.

Seems like they’ve cleaned up their act from past visits. Before there would be a lot of attitude from behind the counter with little care as to how your sandwich was made. Last night I ordered 2 large sandwiches and the young lady behind the counter was fast and courteous I was on my way within 10 min. I will definitely return now, I hope it continues.

This is by far the best Togos I have ever been to. The service is excellent and always quick. The girls that work here are very dedicated and hard working. My co-​worker and I always look forward to getting food at this Togos due to the great service. We highly recommend it to all of our friends and anyone looking for a great sandwich!

Extremely dirty. The service is very unpredictable here but the dining room is always filthy. It looks they haven’t swept or moped the floor since the store opened.
My recommendation is that they hire a professional cleaning company to come in each night and clean the dining room, food prep area, and bathroom. Disgusting.

Slow, no soup & messed up a sandwich from the basic menu. we were in a slight rush & couldn’t help but get frustrated when the 1 employee failed tremendously at any sort of multitasking. I’m fine with people learning but this girl was obviously not trained well enough to run the place alone & I find management at fault. Also there wasn’t any soup! Two stars because the food was edible & the lonely staff was polite enough.

Clean, great sandwiches, and no service issues either. This is both a Togo’s and Baskin Robbins ice cream store!

I have never written a Unilocal review before this and have joined only to warn you about this place. It seems filthy, and in my opinion they could use some help on sanitation practices.

Not sure why the reviews arent good for this place. I’ve been here about five times and have had a great experience every single time. I live in Lodi and prefer this over subway. Their daily deals are way better than subways. $ 5 for sandwich drink and chips. Only thing I would recommend is to cut up the banana peppers. They always put whole ones on your sandwich which tend to be tough to bite into. Other than that, great food.

I love Togo’s but this location only hires people that are very difficult to understand. They constantly speak Spanish to each other making you wonder if they’re talking about you. I was taught that it is rude to speak my native tongue in front of others in public for this reason. Forget about making a phone order due to the language barrier. In the three years I’ve dropped in here, I’ve never heard one employee speak English well. That’s why I go to Subway or to an Elk Grove location.
