Oh My Gravy! This barbecue was the best I’ve had in a long time. We had the brisket with two sides and the loaded baked potato. The potato is the largest spud I’ve seen and it’s loaded with your choice of meet, chicken or brisket. You have choices of additional toppings. The BBQ sauce is an original recipe by the owner, secret ingredients! I never liked BBQ much until I had some homemade sauce of a friend of ours. I grew to love his BBQ sauce and haven’t been able to match that awesome flavor, even top rated BBQ places didn’t compare. Bahia’s BBQ Sauce is the closest to it and brought back memories of the flavor I miss! The Cole slaw is also an original recipe which is outstanding! They also have homemade dessert, which is different every day. Reasonable prices for the excellent flavors!

Great BBQ on the west end FINALLY! I tried the chicken, pulled pork and chopped beef and was surprised at how tender and juicy all of them were, I also suggest the delish beans! Seriously so happy there is good food coming out west of 61^st!

Great new BBQ place on the West End! We’ve eaten here three times now and its been excellent each time. The chopped beef is flavorful and not greasy at all. The sides are good too — especially the potato salad. The BBQ sauce is delicious as well. This location used to be a bar, so don’t let that scare you off. Its a nice, clean place with a family atmosphere now. Love it!

Finally a great BBQ joint in Galveston!!!
Wife and I shared Pulled Pork and Sliced Brisket sandwiches.
Sides of Cole slaw and Potato salad excellent.
Potato salad unique warm and had tiny pieces of smoked brisket mixed in– so unique and delicious.
Brisket juicy just enough fat to be moist and very flavorful.
Usual condiments of onion pickle and peppers generously served on side.
Very unique and flavorful BBQ sauce– served warm.
Wish they had beers on tap.
Owners very warm and friendly– something usually lacking in Galveston and really to me a key ingredient to a successful place.

Really great BBQ in a down home setting. Should be a great spot during the summer time for sunsets. Looking forward more trips to Bahia Oaks!

Just go! My son and I ate here recently and it was fantastic.
I live in Texas so I go to a lot of BBQ places. Most of the time I am not impressed. I BBQ and have a lot of friends that are incredible cooks.
I was blown away by the ribs here. I did not expect them to be as incredible as they are. I will literally eat here all the time. We also shared a BBQ chicken sandwich on a jalapeño bun that was fantastic. The bun tasted homemade and the BBQ sauce was awesome.
They had 16 ounce beets for $ 2.50 and like 10 TVs. Each had games on but they also have Netflix and will play whatever you want.
The owners are totally cool, down-​to-​earth and make you feel at home.
This is a hidden gem and worth the drive. Enjoy!

Excellent food and service. Locally owned and operated. It’s a great new addition to the island! Definitely worth the trip down the Seawall.
