Galveston Artillery Club

Very solid spot. I attended a wedding here on Jan 2, 2016 and everything was flawless (with the exception of their sound system while the band preformed). Amazing food, very polite & professional staff, and great bartenders. Beautiful venue for a wedding!

This is a private club to the elitist of Galveston. If you are lucky enough to be invited for a lunch or dinner, you are in for a great treat.
David is the manager of the Artillery Club and is a delight to talk to.
The menu works like this, anything you could want, they can create. One great feature of the Artillery Club is they have a Princess portion, for those ladies who do not want to eat a large meal. I ordered the sauteed Snapper with garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus. The Snapper was unbelievable, it blew Gaido’s seafood out of the water. This is also a great place to visit during those perfect days for a wine and salad by the pool.
If you want superior food on the island, look no further. Unfortunately you need to be a member.
