The kids and I were walking The Strand and this place caught our eye. My kids have been going through a «ghost/scare» phase so we walked in to see what it was about. It’s connected to a Pirate Museum, and for a discounted amount you can pay to do both. I suggest paying for both if you’re interested in at least one. I don’t think either is worth the admission, but my kids wanted to do it so we did. The«Haunted Manor» is something you’d expect to see in someone’s backyard on Halloween. The actors really play the part, so you can’t fault them there. But the scares are cheap tricks and it’s mainly just navigating a dark, plywood hallway while sounds and screams and strobe lights distract you. I would definitely not go back nor would I suggest anyone going here. There’s much better things to spend your money on in Galveston.
