Family owned long time florist, Go no further, go to Knapp. Nelda is a genius!!! She did flowers for our daughter’s wedding at the Galvez and hit a home run with unique, lovely, springtime centerpieces and bridal bouquets. Her attention to detail and providing us with so much more than we expected added to the joy of the day!!! She even made a beautiful flower crown for the Bride.

Knapp Flower Shop is the best. They did an incredible plant arrangement for a co-worker’s funeral and I’ve never seen more beautiful work. I was prepared to pay more and was pleasantly surprised at the final cost of the arrangement. The love and care that was given to make the piece special really showed. We chose a beautiful braided plant and then added some gorgeous ivy plants around the bottom. Our company’s colors are Orange and Black and Nelda suggested adding some beautiful orange Birds of Paradise flowers that not only made the piece unique, it was another thoughtful touch. The thoughtfulness about arranging the piece so the family members were able to separate, take and grow the ivy plants after the funeral was very touching as well. It is a gift that will serve as a tribute and warm reminder going forward. I highly recommend Knapp Flower Shop! It’s NOT your everyday place!

Wow, I had read all the good reviews but the folks at Knapp really did everything perfect on my order. Ordered this morning, delivered this afternoon. The arrangement was beautiful and receiver overjoyed. They have a real talent for what they do, highly recommended.

I ordered an arrangement for my aunt. I emailed the shop and Nelda emailed me back telling me that she would order the flowers I wanted. I called the shop after the flowers were delivered and Nelda told me what she had in stock and what she thought would go together. After the arrangement was made, they emailed me a picture of the arrangement. I loved what they had created. It was sent to my aunt to cheer her up and I believe it will. They emailed me my credit card receipt very fast. Nelda is very professional, nice and patient.

I am often very disappointed in my experience with florist but oh my gosh this place was great! I didn’t experience the shop/​store front because I live in Austin and was sending flowers to my mom who lives in Galveston. I picked this florist because they had great reviews on line and in looking at their website I enjoyed a few of their arrangements. When I called I still wasn’t sure I was even going to send flowers to my mom because I was on a tight budget and figured they would be out of my range.
The lady on the phone was incredibly nice. I told her about the picture on line and she was able to pull it up and tell me exactly which flowers they currently had available. She said she could stick with the color scheme but the flowers wouldn’t be exactly the same. That was a’okay with me because I just wanted the arrangement to be fresh and you could tell that was important to her. The pricing was spot on; it was only $ 65 for this beautiful large arrangement and anywhere else I have been it would have been at least $ 100! Even better, I placed my order at about 1:30pm and at the end of the call I asked if it would be delivered tomorrow. She said nope we will get it delivered today! What?! I was so shocked that they would be able to deliver it on the same day.
Within 2 hours, I had a phone call from my mom saying thank you! This place is so on top of it!

Wedding flowers were beyond my expectations!!! I worked with Nelda, who was so helpful and knowledgable. We worked together with inspiration photos. Nelda knew how to stay in budget and use what would be in season to achieve the the same look I wanted. Nelda has an exquisite taste level and knew exactly the look I was going for. A couple of days before the wedding Nelda took me around the shop to show me all the flowers that had been ordered and how they were going to be put together. The guests were all blown away by how gorgeous the flowers were, so many great comments. They looked so perfect at the venue we chose. Knapp flowers made the wedding so beautiful and spectacular. I highly recommend them for any of your floral needs!!! They’re shop is so inviting and cute as well!!!

I purchased the flowers for my dear friend’s wedding reception (in Galveston) as my gift to her, and had a wonderful experience using Knapp Flower Shop. The customer service can’t be beat! I worked with Karen, who I discovered is an expert when it comes to wedding flower arrangements! I was a bit overwhelmed considering the reception had 20 eight-​foot-​long tables and I had no idea where to start regarding what kinds of flowers to choose and how many I would need. Karen offered many suggestions for flower types, as well as ways in which they could be arranged on such long tables. All I had to do was choose which flowers I wanted and Karen did the rest. She was spot on regarding the quantity: I had just the right amount of everything and the reception hall looked beautiful! Since I don’t live in Galveston, all of our communication was via email, and Karen was always very prompt when it came to answering my questions. The flowers were delivered on time to the hall and the delivery man was very courteous and professional. I couldn’t be a happier customer!

Wow these are the most beautiful sophisticated bouquets I’ve ever seen, the florist truly has an eye for the arrangements she creates. And uses the best quality and beautifully blossomed flowers. This review is long over due. The first time I herd of knapp was when my husband and I were just dating and he sent me a surprise bouquet of flowers to my job when he was living in Florida. They executed to most beautiful surprise. So when we got married I was looking for a bridal bouquet on the very last minute! Literally contacted her just two days before my wedding and told her what I wanted over the phone, and on my wedding day they had it delivered to my ceremony even though they were closed! When I saw the bouquet I cried! It was even more beautiful than I had imagined it to be. Their work isn’t just an art and sophisticated but their service is sincere and goes beyond exceptional. LOVE

I wish this shop were in Austin! I would probably just want to hang out there everyday. Nelda was awesome – ready to help me create just what I was envisioning for my friend in the hospital in Galveston. I loved walking through the shop with her – «excellent customer service» doesn’t begin to cover it. This felt personal, family-​like. A real joy, and a gorgeous arrangement! Are you guys SURE you don’t want an Austin branch?

Knapp Flower Shop has been our go-​to florist since our wedding nineteen years ago (before then, actually). They always do a great job; I just call up and give them a vague description of what I want to send my wife and how much I would like to spend, and boom– instant happiness. The arrangements are always fantastic and the flowers are fresh. Florally-​challenged husbands– this is the place for you.
Additionally, when our kids were enrolled in a local non-​profit school, we approached Knapp Flower Shop about working with us on a Christmas fund-​raiser. They agreed right away, and it was a great success. Nelda went further, and offered to donate a small percentage of each sale throughout the year to the school, as long as the customer mentioned the school. It doesn’t get better than that.

My husband and I are so happy we went with Knapp Flower Shop when we decided to have our wedding in Galveston. Working with Nelda was great. She was so responsive to all my questions and concerns. She listened to what I wanted and my bouquet and all the centerpieces and other flowers came out so beautiful. Yesterday I called and spoke with Nelda about sending a last minute arrangement to my mom since I live out of town. She was so helpful deciding for me what would look nice together given what colors I told her I wanted. She even went so far as to email me a picture of the arrangement before it was delivered to make sure it was what I wanted. My mom loved them and so do I! Most original, stunning, and long lasting floral arrangements I have ever ordered in my life have been from Knapp’s. The employees are knowledgeable, polite, and caring. Definitely the best florist I’ve ever used. Highly recommend!

LOVED LOVED LOVED Nelda and everyone at Knapp Flower Shop in Galveston. Found myself in a crunch, while planning my wedding, with another florist who did not seem to follow my vision. Met with Nelda two months before my wedding, and she knew exactly what I wanted. She even went so far as to get the flowers in her store to have me see them the next day to help in the decision making process. Everything ended up GORGEOUS!!! I HIGHLY recommend them if you want the best and most beautiful flowers. I will be forever thankful for all of the beautiful images I now have.

Today is my mom’s 60^th birthday. I live in California and my she lives in Galveston, TX. I had an awful day yesterday and completely forgot to call a florist to arrange for delivery today. On top of that, my morning started off awful, so I didn’t get to call Knapp Flower Shop until 11am (that’s 1pm in Galveston). I know I’m full of excuses. So it’s 1pm and I need them delivered today, please. Pretty please?
I apologized for the late notice, though the gentleman on the phone sounded like it wasn’t a big deal. He took my order, asking if I wanted anything in particular in the arrangement, how much I wanted to spend, and what I wanted the card to say. I told him purple, roses (other reviews online said that their roses are always beautiful), and I referenced a picture on their website with purple flowers and heather. He said that they’d be delivered today and that was that. The call was quick and easy, and I was relieved that I was sending a gorgeous bouquet of purple flowers that would actually arrive on her birthday, despite my procrastination.
But you never know when you call for flowers to be delivered and you don’t see them…
My mom told me that they were BEAUTIFUL. The vase was interesting (square opaque purple), the purple flowers were fresh and fragrant, and they popped it with red roses and red tulips. She said that the purple and the red looked so fresh and interesting. To top it off, they perched the most beautiful bird among the buds. And the card was gold embossed and sealed beautifully. My mom almost liked the card more than the flowers. They were delivered by 5pm (talk about fast!). Just in time, because she was heading out to dinner around 6.
Yes! Thank you Knapp. Next time I’m sending flowers in Galveston, I’m calling Knapp.
