Well I just gotta tell ya… after deliberating for over an hour whether or not we should make a decision between 2 BBQ joints. It came down to Leons. This place is the bomb. We were on business in Galveston and felt the Austin Texas urge for brisket. I mean after all. who can surpass Austin right? Well we guessed right and boy am I glad we did. Tender, juicy, spiced just right enough to make your mama sort of cry. And the buttermilk pie… we couldn’t stop at 1 piece. I wanted to keep on going. Get me that recipe please or better still Leon do you do mailorder ?. I can hardly wait till I have to go back for business or how about just go and have dinner. Oh yes. how could I forget. the smoked turkey. I originally wanted chicken but Leon winked at me and said «I guarantee you’re going to like this». And like I did. Moist, tender, juicy all over again. When in Galveston do as the Galvestonians do and even if they don’t just go to Leons World Finest Bar-​B-​Que and EAT !
