We came in and browsed around, asking Mamady about almost all of his pieces. He told us about his life in Africa and his family before coming to America. We ended up purchasing a gorgeous beaded piece of wall art. Mamady is just such a lovely person. I only wish I could have spent more time learning about him and his experiences. We will visit him each time we return to Galveston. Speaking to him is an experience you won’t want to miss out on.

This place looked really interesting from the window, but the door was locked during business hours and nobody came to open it. I really wanted to give this place a chance, but I don’t think I’ll be back.
