Staff was super friendly. Large portions and one of the best biscuits known to man. They have a good amount of parking but free street parking right off the sea wall in walking distance.

The ambience is perfect… a Nantucket feel. Our waitress could not have been more friendly and helpful.(Well, she could have, but then it would have been Tan Thad, kneeling at our table, creeping everyone out.) I strongly recommend spoiling your dinner by splitting an order of Crab Balls… about the size of golf balls, you get five. They are very crabby and seasoned perfectly! Calamari which we stupidly also ordered was fine but meh. The food was perfectly fine too, but you will not be strongly recommending that anyone«skip the apps and save your appetite for the fish tacos!!»

Went there for breakfast on Wednesday and went back for dinner on Thursday. Service is awesome and food is to die for. If you have a chance to go ask for Christy she is amazing she made my wife and I feel so welcomed. Even when she wasn’t our waitress age came over and asked how our honeymoon was going. Just all around friendly and welcoming place. We will definitely be back there before we leave.

We had a wonderful experience at Millers. We ordered shrimp cocktail and a cup of gumbo for appetizers. The shrimp cocktail has a beautiful display and TASTY cocktail sauce(thick and flavorful). The gumbo is advertised as spicy, but we did not think it was bad at all — definitely could have been spicier. We both ordered the seawall platter for dinner. Get the grilled shrimp! So delicious! I ordered the crab stuffing for a side and it did not disappoint. We shared a HUGE piece of key lime pie for dessert. YOUNEEDTHISINYOURLIFE. SO good. The hostess was very friendly and our waitress was great. Everyone was kind to our 10 month old. They have a legit changing table in the restrooms as well. Great night. We decided we would rather go here than a place like Gaidos or Landrys because we ordered a ton of food and still paid less than we would have at those restaurants.

Impeccable service. Excellent food. This place is top notch. Only issue I had was parking but I was patient and circled long enough & I finally got one. Of course you could pay to park along the seawall also. I had the fried shrimp & oyster platter with sweet potato fries. It was Awesome! Although there was a wait, I got in quickly and my meal was served promptly. All workers were very attentive. They are all very nice and hard workers. All staff went out of their way to make sure I was happy and I had everything I needed. I cannot say enough wonderful things about my experience there. I will definitely be back!!!

Highly recommend… Great staff, great food, great location. Go through the hassle of finding parking, it is well worth it. Best hamburger I’ve had in a LONG time.

We love this place! My husband and I went there last month for breakfast. We were celebrating my birthday. It was our very first time to eat there. We were greeted by a friendly face and sat in a booth next to the window that looked out into the Gulf! Christina was our waitress and she was wonderful! I told her I was not crazy about eggs and she had 4 – 5 recommendations to offer immediately. I ordered their French toast with crispy bacon. This was the BESTFRENCHTOAST I have ever eaten!!! I’m not kidding… you really do not even need to have any syrup because the flavor is so AHHH — MAZING! My husband had the egg and waffles with sausage… yummy! The interior of the restaurant has wood beaded board and what looks like original tile flooring. I love to find places that are different from going to the typical chain establishments. (More unique!) We are definitely going back and will be asking for the same waitress. We definitely recommend Miller’s Seawall Grill

Last night I took my parents to Millers for their birthday/anniversary as they wanted something somewhat casual and not all fried options(surprisingly many of the seafood places in Galveston have a 100% fried menu!) They had been going to Nick’s and Gaidos for years, but aparently the quality/service had gone downhill so they were up to trying something new. First, the place has been there about 40 years, and is family owned, which I like. Second, you can tell they take pride in the quality and service vs. turning tables. After about 20 minutes of trying to figure out what to order we all settled on something(the menu is pretty extensive, plus there are multiple combos and ways to order things… plus all the sides!) Everything came out delicious, our server was friendly and we ended up staying for about 2 hours visiting. We all agreed that when we visit Galveston again, we would definitely keep Millers on the list of places to visit again.

This place is delicous and has a great view of the seawall! I got the crab balls and they were delicious, I’d probably get those as my meal next time I go! I also got the 16 shrimp dinner, half grilled and half fried, I’d definitely reccomend getting them grilled! Service was fast and friendly. I will definitely be trying their brownie dessert next time I go, it looked so delicious!

The chicken fried steak was wonderful! The mashed potatoes and fried okra were great also! My husband had the 18 shrimp — half fried and half grilled and didn’t care for them. He let me try one of each and I definitely agree — not good… they tasted old and were probably frozen. My review is based strictly on my food — I would definitely go back and have the chicken fried steak again!

Over the top goodness! Beautiful design inside and out. All staff friendly and welcoming. Everyone made eye contact. I had spilled some of my tea on the menu and before I could ask for assistance, a gentleman cleaning tables was at my rescue We were here 5−13−16. Our server Paul, very prompt and on point. Knowledgeable of the menu and great suggestions. Our order was correct and he offered rolls and condiments. The food… We started with the crab balls. Absolutely delish. We had the plate lunches. Under $ 10. I had enough left over for another meal. Home cooked and fresh. The menu is large. Something for everyone We will definitely be back !

This place is darn tootin! The chicken fried steak and eggs are freakin good! I can’t get over it! The building is cool and the staff is great. You’re gonna have to wait but that’s only because it rocks. Good variety, great view and just a cool place to get your grub on! Enjoy!

We were a party of six in Galveston on a Sunday afternoon. We expected a wait and were not disappointed. Unfortunately, Miller’s has very few tables that seat more than 4. They give you adorable little lobster-shaped buzzers to let you know when your table is ready, and we got a lot of enjoyment out of that. Service took a while to notice we’d been sat but once we got things rolling it all happened fast and furious — the kitchen is on top of things. I had Fried Shrimp and Catfish and both were crispy and flavorful. Other items at the table that were delicious: Crab Cake, Avocado & Crab Salad, Grilled Catfish, and even the dinner rolls! Everything tasted fresh, which you would expect on the beach. Let’s have a talk about the desserts. I was stuffed beyond belief when the group started ordering desserts, and I almost fainted when they came out. The portions are hilarious — I giggled when I saw the Brownie. The Italian Cream Cake was moist & sweet, but that was about it. The Key Lime Pie was fluffy, but not tart enough. Their famous Ganache Brownie was absolutely swimming in chocolate, but the brownie was dry. I’ve had better out of a box. I understand why the place has been here for 40 years and why it was busy straight through my visit here. Good food done quickly is timeless, but maybe skip dessert.

I tried the gumbo; the menu said«Hot & Spicy», it actually it just a very good flavor. Lots of shrimp, sausage and crab meat. My wife’s shrimp were good, but not seasoned enough. Overall, our meal and server Lauren(hopefully I spelled her name correctly) were great. Restaurant furnishings are pretty cool too.

Quaint, charming spot! Beautiful lights, great view, clean, smells refreshing! Service mediocre. Doesn’t accomendate large parties well. Perfect for couples and parties of 4. Crab dip was outstanding! Huge lumps of fresh crab meat — very rich! Served with tortilla chips but would have been even better on toasted French bread! Hot chocolate rich, velvety, & creamy served in a large novelty mug! Their«toasted biscuit» was divine! Imagine the best southern biscuit you have ever had then buttered and grilled on a flat top to give it a luscious flap jack like crust! Key lime pie was light, fluffy, fresh, and sweet with just the right among of tart!
