Probably some of the best Asian food on the island. The only problem is the portions were not that large. With that in mind, I have no problem giving this ace a four star review. If you are in the mood for Asian food, you won’t be disappointed with Phở 20.

Excellent services. Good price. Try their short ribs with fried rice. It is is really good. The only thing that I don’t like in this place is the Vietnamese egg roll. Not authentic.

A friend and I walked in on a Tuesday night at 8:37 and we were refused to have a table by a waitress and the manager. Why would you have your open sign on with the board says closed at 9 if you don’t accept customers?

This place is okay, i mean it’s not good enough. Everything is either not tasty or too salty. My Tom Bo Nuong was okay, the beef was a little too chewy, avocado smoothie was tasteless. The Phở soup is not as tasty as should be. Not coming back

They’re getting one star because the wouldn’t wait on me. Three servers walked past my table several times and no one said a word or asked if I had been waited on. So I got up and left. It’s a shame. The food looked good.

great food, awful service. Used to love this place and was a regular for years, long before they moved to the new location. went in a few months ago with my son as I had done dozens of times to order the usual phở dac biet. I went in, was not greeted for a long time, a LONG time. I watched for 15 minutes as a couple servers back and forth taking care of other guests and completely ignored my table. I walked out, and will never walk back in again.

This place just seems confusing to me. Real upscale design inside. Feels warm and dark but doesn’t go well with a Phở restaurant. I like vibrant colorful Phở restaurants. That’s just my taste tho. As for the food it was okay. Not great and not bad. I think there is more fusion here. There are good veggie options for vegetarians. The grilled beef plate is overpriced and way to little beef and way to much rice. No soup with that dish either. The house special noodle soup is just grilled meats and shrimp dropped into a phở broth. Nothing special about it. The tofu clay pot is nice. I won’t recommend this place. Try it if you want.

Oh my… I have never been more disappointed in my entire career of eating. Really… Truly. I ordered togo… I wanted Bun thit ngong and com thit ngong. I called in, asking if they had anyone who spoke Vietnamese, the person who answered did not speak Viet but then they told me that they were going to get someone who did. The second person was on the line, I started to talk to them in Vietnamese. They did not speak Viet, but said that they would get someone who did. Finally, I had received someone on the other line who spoke Viet! YAYY!!! (So you’re probably asking why I need someone who spoke Viet, its because I didn’t know how to say these dishes in English). I had ordered my food, and they told me that it would be ready in 15 minutes. I went there to see that I only had one item ordered… And that I did not have my second dish that I wanted. Anywho; after all that disappointment, I had to dish out $ 15 dollars for 1 item. We start back on the road and I am so hungry I cannot wait to dig in. I pull out the food, and it looks as per usual. I pour on some fish sauce and start to dig in… Add in more fish sauce… nothing. no flavor. My boyfriend, who is Caucasian(He wanted me to add that), and is very new to Vietnamese food, was surprised at how whimpy it was as well. Not only did we end up pouring all the fish sauce into the tray, and there literally being no flavor. This coming from a girl who love a ton of fish sauce, and her boyfriend who can usually handle so little, had to pour… the whole… thing… I was so disappointed… So heavily disappointed. I asked a Vietnamese person, since I was out of town, of a place that has good Vietnamese food. And I am assaulted by something that is just. Not that… This is not ‘truly’ authentic. Its… bleh. Plain… Bottom line: Never again… I mean it. Never. ((This was probably once owned by Viet… but not anymore)

I have never been disappointed here. The service is great and VERY fast and everything I’ve tried has been delicious! Staff is very friendly and the place is clean. Four stars because the food is not always consistent in terms of flavor and taste – but it’s still delicious. Also, they do not open on Sundays… Things I would recommend: Chargrilled Phở House special fried rice Happy wings(comes with a little salad) Shrimp Dumplings General T’so

Best Fried rice in town. Try their chicken or veggie but always ask for extra egg, worth it. Soups are hearty and plentiful. Am regular here mostly take outs. Staff is friendly. Ambience is good to dine in. Very fast service. Mostly exchange students serve as waiters. Overall good homely experience. Too bad as they are closed on Sundays. Apart from the above mentioned dishes, I really don’t try others but heard their spring rolls are good as well.

The outside definitely doesnt match the inside, which was clean and nice. The staff was very pleasant. Not only was the food delicious, it was very pretty too. Hubby ordered the P11 and LOVED it. I had the rock and roll beef and I about had to be rolled out. Everything was so filling. We will definitely be back.

Pros –comfy atmosphere –friendly service –moderately priced –quiet Cons –bad phở –bad chopsticks –bad bubble tea –no Asians in sight Overall this place is decent, if you’re unfamiliar with what good phở should taste like. Judging from the diners mostly being Caucasian it really doesn’t matter. I only ate(phở) here once and perhaps the menu has more to offer.

Great ambiance… total surprise when we walked in the door. This is a locals secret. Perfect for a short get a way to relax & unwind. Food is wonderful. Staff are attentive and very friendly. Prices are mid range. Portions are perfect, not distorted. Location, easy parking. Easy to find. A definite return visit in the future. Just missing my won ton soup… if you’re looking for a nice small luncheon area this is GOLD!

Phở 20 has the best Vietnamese cuisine in town. My family and I have been going here for more than 4 years and have never had a bad experience with the service and food. It’s what you would expect with other Viet restaurants – huge Phở portions. The broth is always delicious. It’s definitely a to-go place for anyone just wanting soup. The management is wonderful and very friendly people. I know there’s a new hiring of staff and I can see they’re still really new with not much knowledge of the food items, but I’m looking forward for their success in this restaurant. The only downside is that this place is closed on Sundays! …sometimes I want phở on Sundays!

Not really blown away by this place but it seems to be pretty popular with the local folks. Our server had just started working there so he wasn’t terribly familiar with the food and what comes with the orders and since we were starving, I didn’t want to wait and find out what veggies came with the fajita type meat and somehow it turned out to be tomato slices. Not sure how one is supposed to eat tomato with steamed rice. He also left our waters empty and for the bad service we still left a nice tip since we were too lazy to wait for change. They do have little private rooms so it seems like a nice enough place, but I guess I don’t get it or am spoiled by big city restaurants.

On my hunt to satisfy this weird Asian cuisine craving, I found myself in here on this rainy Wednesday during my lunch break. I called in my food order and the lady on the phone was very pleasant and accomodating to my indecisive personality. I entered through the side of the building from the cramped parking lot and immediately found myself almost completely in the kitchen. A friendly face politely asked me what I needed. To which I responded«I called in a to-go order.» I was directed to one of the bank-lobby-style window thingies where my food was waiting for me. Overall great service! The food: I ordered house lo-mein with no shrimp. Being that this is my first time ever eating lo-mein I am impressed. The beef is soooooo flavorful and they give you so much! I’m not too fond of this dry looking chicken but eh, for the most part, I’m a happy camper. I“ll be back! *Schwarzenegger voice*

Don’t let the exterior surprise you, what is inside is something you will ponder in why did you not stop here before venturing into the tourist money trap of a town. The staff here is very helpful in reading if you need anything or concerns. This is the«Kim Son’ of Galveston if you’ve ever been there and in fact better than Kim Son. You will pass by a nice wine rack/holder then into a room with tables spaced out generously where you aren’t bumping elbows with your fellow diners. The menu is pretty extensive for a little place but there is something for everybody. I came here with a party of about 15 and left with 15 people happy. We had a small private glass room that was the better touch and threw everything over the 4 star top for me. In fact, I would drive all the way from Houston to here anytime if given the chance, time restraints me though. The price is on par especially for what you get. It’s not a hole in the wall, it’s a stand alone building and it’s in a «tourist» loving town in which every businesses kind of sees a right to jack up prices beyond what the norm expect but I can tell you this that an extra dollar is not going to kill you. Parking…meh it’s a little tight but should not be too much of a problem since it doesn’t share with surrounding businesses.
