Cupcake Blvd

I tried a peanut butter cup cupcake from their Annapolis Mall location and it was delicious! The cake and frosting are fluffy. It’s like biting into a sweet, delicious cloud. I can’t wait to try more flavors.

I needed a cake for a special occasion and wasn’t sure what to expect from a cupcake place but let me tell you that it was the BEST CAKE I HAVE EVER HAD!!! It was huge (10 inches round) and could have served about 30 people. I got the Milky Way one with chocolate and caramel icing and everyone couldn’t believe how amazing it tasted! And… the best part is that it cost only $ 55! I have paid double for a cake in the area that was not half as good as this one. I can’t wait to order another cake from here to try out another flavor!!!

Charming cupcake shop located inside busy shopping center. These cupcakes are delish and the lattes arent too bad either. They have a limited variety but compliment with macaroons. The cakes are moist and the flavor is yummers!!! Definitely worth a taste or three. I also love supporting women owned biz especially for bold entrepreneurs who switch careers like this shop owner did! It is a bit on the smaller side if you want to dine in

The cupcakes are expensive, which I expected, because that’s just how they are now. I ordered a variety and they were all dry and a little stale. I had been assured they were baked fresh that morning, but they certainly didn’t taste that way. Disappointing.

I’ve been going to Cupcake BLVD since I moved to Upper Marlboro 3 years ago. The prices are the norm for any cupcake, the variety is ever changing. I referred my cousin to them for her wedding and they did an amazing job. They made the bomb birthday cake for me and it looked exactly like the picture I sent them. You really can not go wrong with anything that you get from them. This will always be my go to spot for sweets. I would love if they would make mini cheesecakes!

The staff and selection here are excellent. The food is to die for! I have never had cupcakes this good before!

The cake I ordered turned out beautiful and beyond what I expected. Everyone loved the strawberry filling.

Stopped in for some cupcakes to take to a dinner with friends. Grabbed a couple of gluten free and a couple of the other flavors (red velvet, salted caramel, chocolate w/​cream cheese). The gluten free cupcakes were awful. They were dry, they fell apart, they tasted old. I mean… I know now a lot of people eat the gluten free cupcakes but you can’t make them and try and pass old cupcakes off as good. The flavors weren’t even in the cupcakes anymore, they simply tasted like freezer burnt cardboard. However, the other cupcakes, which i can guess that they were fresh– were phenomenal. I dealt with the gluten pangs just so I could enjoy A Cupcake.

Seriously amazing cupcakes. The only thing I have to say is that I got a cookies and cream cupcake and it had cream cheese frosting. I would have preferred a vanilla or chocolate, but the cake was so good it made up for it. I’ve gotten a few cupcakes, a few truffles, and a cannoli and I have to say they’re all amazing. The chocolate actually has a chocolate taste to it. I’m shocked at how fast these things sell out and make sure that I get there before two so I can get the one (s) I want. They also have military discount which is pretty cool. All in all I will probably order a cake from them and will probably stop by today after lunch.

Comparing to dc cupcakes… Better in my opinion… Rich but not so rich… Sweet and closer. Employees are a lot more caring compared to other places… Big fan !

Ive never had a chocolate cupcake like this before. I don’t know where to start. It actually tasted like chocolate. The frosting was sweet without being overpowering. It was light and fluffy and delicious.
I tried the red velvet, chocolate with buttercream icing, vanilla with vanilla icing, and mounds bar cupcakes.
I can honestly say that there was not a bad one in the bunch.
Take it from a girl who has had her share of foul cupcakes, you will not be disappointed here. They are expensive but totally worth it.

We tried the salted Carmel and the snicker doodle and they were hands down the best cupcakes I have ever had! Can’t wait to try more flavors!

Delicious and well made. Moist and actually taste like the flavor it is. Snicker doodle was good, but the icing tasted more like cream cheese icing with nutmeg on topm ill be back for BOGO Thursdays!

This place is dangerous because, it’s so good!!! Every cupcake that I’ve tried has been stellar. Moist, fresh and delicious. My favorite is definitely the fuzzy coconut. Do yourself a favor and drop by and get a cupcake.

Every time i go to this place the staff is friendly.
I have come in several times typically on a Ssturday. I have tried the Red Velvet, pumpkin spice, tiramisu, snickerdoodle, and a canoli. I went in one Saturday later than usual and missed the red velvet cupcakes. I ordered another cupcake but the manager gave me a red velvet cake truffle on the house. I would not have tried it on my own because I was unfamiliar but I have to say… she made a fan out of me! It was delicious. I will definitely buy some in the future.

Friday now means a regular stop at Cupcake Blvd. for my weekend supply of the best cupcakes I’ve ever had!
Today I picked up 3 Carrot, 2 Snickerdoodle and 1 Red Velvet!
If you’re not stopping in here on a regular basis… You are truly missing out on a fantastic treat.

How to gain a customer:
Step 1: Offer a great discount on a premium product like these gourmet (my description) cup cakes! —Check
Step 2: Greet me and my wife with a great big smile as if you really want us to be there in your store. —Check
Step 3: Deliver on the goods/​/​decadence! — Check
Walked in to try ONE cupcake and bought a half dozen cupcakes because it was during cup cake happy hour which offers cupcakes for a dollar off and they looked that dang good!
So far, I’ve tried the Chocolate cupcake with a chocolate butter cream frosting topped with chocolate sprinkles… The cake was moist and tasty, and the cream was light with just the right amount of sweetness and the sprinkles were a nice touch to top it off. I was in heaven. My wife had a red velvet cup cake which she thoroughly enjoyed.
Tomorrow, I will try the carrot cake… I can’t wait, but I suspect that it will be the BOMB!!!

I had been following Cupcake Blvd on Twitter and Facebook for some months now! I decided for Father’s Day, that we would pick up a half dozen or my husband! We went in the location on a Saturday morning! It was virtually empty, which was good! I had the opportunity to browse around and see what they had to offer as far as flavors go!
I picked 6 flavors, and paid! It was $ 16 for a half dozen, but whatever! They sell their cupcakes for #3.50 a piece. Everyone charges a lot for a cupcake nowadays! Because they were a gift, I didn’t have the pleasure of tasting them myself! However, I plan on it very soon!
They young people in the location were very fast and extremely courteous and friendly! Even gave me some tips on how to keep them as fresh as possible for the next day!
They are on the pricey end, but what cupcake joint aint pricey nowadays!
