Enjoyed the«Forget Cooking» class very much. I do eat primarily vegetarian and was happy to find a cooking class that was meat-free. There was no agenda to convert people to vegan lifestyle, no apologizing for the absence of meat, or trying to make things taste like meat. It was like it was not even a consideration, just very natural. I liked that. Raw is very healthy and we probably all should incorporate more of it in our diet. When I think of raw foods I think of fruit and celery. I had amazing gourmet raw foods in Bali last year(loads of raw restaurants in Ubud) and really wanted to learn some recipes that I can make at home. I’m happy with the menu for this class. It had beverage, soup, salad, entrees, and dessert. Fantastic! Chef Raquel is very comfortable in front of the class, nice, friendly, makes you feel welcome and free to ask questions at any time. The recipes she took us through were easy and really delicious. Her knowledge of food nutrition and preparation was clear, as is her passion for Yumminess. I totally recommend taking a class with her if you’re looking to try something new and leaning toward healthy. Fun and Tasty :-D

Chef Raquel was great! And so was her food! I am not a vegan or a vegetarian, I am French and love food, period. This was an amazing culinary experience with very simple food, but amazing taste. You just have to try one day in your life! And the class is great to bring you inspiration and health in your everyday cooking. Thanks Raquel!

Went to the forget cooking class on a groupon deal. I am glad that I went and it was very enlightening, as well as delicious. To eat healthier, doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice taste which was demonstrated in the dishes presented. I am not vegan, but it was very intriguing to eat basic healthy raw veggies in different and delicious ways. It maybe a bit basic for those who cook raw already, but it is great for those of us that haven’t tried eating vegan or raw food diets. Raquel shared knowledge and an obvious love and belief in a raw food diet, but wasn’t overly pushy or dismissive of those who were not vegan/vegetarian. I enjoyed the laid back format of the class as well.

Took the introduction to Raw Cooking. Was able to pick up some quick tips and definitely enjoyed learning how versatile seeds can be if you don’t want to meet. Raquel is a very engaging teacher and made everything seem easy, and I have to admit that I bought a Vitamix after seeing it in use for one of the recipes.
