Patrick is fantastic. Has an excellent selection and is very charismatic. Have purchased numerous paintings, frames, and glass. I have had numerous friends, family and even a doctor I know purchase art and were extremly happy. I’m very suprised to see a bad review here. Your buying fine art in a very classy area of garden city. So yes prices are going to be on the higher end but one thing patrick doesn’t fall short on is customer service. I’d certainly pay more and have a great backing then pay for less then satisfactory customer service. So dont let one bad apple spoil the bunch on here. Patrick runs a top notch framing gallery and has an amazing assortment of frames and style that are top quality.
This is my go to framing space for the customer service and disposition Patrick lends to his professionalism.
I had no idea how to frame a complicated a piece and he guided me to exactly the perfect frame to make the pieces oh so eloquent.
I’m very happy with the work and though the price is steep it is not higher than other framers.
Frames are imported and local artisans and of an amazing quality and that is what you pay for.
Literally hundreds of mats and frames and presentations to choose from it is daunting but Patrick synthesizes the piece into a perfect phrase matching the frame to the art creating an aura of perfection.

Need something framed? Then pop in to the Sunflower Gallery on Seventh Street in Garden City. The service is top shelf and when it comes to framing a print, poster, picture or painting the head man, Patrick, knows his stuff inside and out! I took a 73 year old photo of my wife’s mom & grandfather launching the USS Macaw in 1942. She is even holding a bottle of champagne. A very special picture that needed TLC and extra special handling. No worries, Patrick took care of everything from helping select the frame to recommending what kind of glass to use. The finished product was perfect. What more can be said?

Patrick and his people at Sunflower Fine Art are terrific. This is the second time Patrick has framed something for me, and both times he flawlessly framed stone-​cut (like woodcut or lithograph) original signed and numbered prints on delicate paper. Others might have wrinkled the paper or used thin mattes that buckle with time; he took perfect care with these delicate jobs. The first print he framed looks like it was done yesterday, even though it was hung (perfectly by him, I might add) a few years ago. No fading or buckling with time. His guy Mike just brought over and hung the second one quickly and expertly in my apartment yesterday, and I am very happy with it. Patrick has a good eye: his suggestions for frames and mattes were spot on, meticulously finished, and made the pieces visually «pop» nicely. If you can afford it, get the museum quality glass; if hung out of direct glare it is as if there is no glass between you and your art. If you care about art and want it framed professionally, go to Sunflower.

This is definitely the best place I’ve ever been to frame anything. They’re super nice, super helpful and their work is amazing. We will definitely be coming back here for any other work we need done in the future.

I was lucky enough to obtain a super rare Jane Project piece by Jacob Bannon; unlucky enough to inherit damage from the prior, careless owner. I felt a noose slowly wrapping around my enormous turkey neck…
Somehow, before choking myself into oblivion, I discovered Sunflower Gallery. The owner’s voice echoed across the phone frequenices like God’s gift, «I can repair it.»
«Repair» isn’t the word for what this art savior did. He worked on this piece for two months; nothing was overlooked. Every single scratch was removed and varnished. I’m so impressed, I think I might grab the rope and hang myself anyway. The joy is just too much…

I live in Manhattan but I come to Sunflower for quality artwork and framing. I discovered them during a lunch break from my office in Garden City and I am so pleased I did! Patrick is great — he pays attention to detail and delivered exactly what I wanted on each occasion. I highly recommend Sunflower Fine Art galleries.

This review is very overdue. A great place! Patrick, the owner is extremely helpful and very sincere in all of his efforts. He helped me create the perfect gift for my fiancé and on relatively short notice (thanks to my procrastination)! I would have to say that it was more expensive than I anticipated. However, in Patrick’s defense, I have no experience with custom framing whatsoever and for all I know I got a steal. Bottom line, it came out beautifully, quickly and I don’t believe I would have got a better final product anywhere else. I’ll be back!

From the moment you walk into Sunflower Fine Art, you are overwhelmed with a true sense of professionalism. Within a minute, the owner Patrick, greeted me in the most calming of ways and took the time to educate me on the art in the store, and the process in which my art/​photos would be framed.
